How is Lightning Strike looking in 3.25 Path of Exile

It is still an active playstyle as you need to keep adrenaline and the smite buff up for tough encounters. It should still be a nice cheap way to clear the atlas
Rough POB with what I think are the right calculations to work out the new damage and taking into account determination and grace nerfs. This is average rare gear, cheap uniques and a 6 link. This POB does not take into account the vaal skill as this has a different added damage effectiveness but for burst damage you can add another 1.1 million onto the Full DPS
If you want to check this pob you need to go into options in POB and click opt-in to weekly beta builds and update POB and then import the POB. This will give you the new ascendancies and skill trees.

im just SO glad they revised the patch notes and clarified the damages. thank you for adding to the effort with that! kinda thinking about yolo'ing a LS Warden, despite how unfriendly it looks for starting.

Perforate got massive buffs and was already decent clear with good single target. might be another contender for awesome starter. Perforate now has 622% dps effectiveness at gem level 20 (previously 265%).

funny how they only changed mana cost on some skills life rain of arrows , really enjoyed your Champ version of RoA , now I just wanna go for some wild strike warden ( never played melee skills outside of SST so don't know what to expect)

Warden LS, seems like the only true build to touch if you want to go beast mode

Have you considered using the worthy foe node on the champ ascendancy instead of foritifcation, and just using the fortify gem / having a corruption on your melee weapon for fortify? Would that help the damage more, and maybe make the swap to crit easier as you don't need to worry about accuracy?

is starting with elemental hit something to consider? it was switched to melee only and, as far as I can tell, it is one of the few melee abilities that has not lost the flat elemental damage increase.

I'm probably sending LS too but will be swapping to LS of Arcing, don't you think of arcing is wayyyy better?

With damage Effectiveness buffed and dual Ichimonji, maybe using Thunderfist to make a 'heavy' 5-linked gives more starter damage.

I typed a long ass message with a lot of nuanced questions and bs, but basically it comes down to: What do you think of trying to make LS trickster work? (For somebody who has wanted to play with the CI/regen/ghost shroud shit. And how much chill does one get with LS these days? I’ve followed your guides in the past and have enjoyed and come to trust your takes for those of us with barely enough time to play, let alone rest* :) Either way thanks and good luck in league Edit: test, not rest, though both are true haha

I loved lightning strike champ on a budget last league. Just hated the league. Do you think Smite slayer might be better?

Is this build viable for deep delve? Is it tanky enough for like 1-2k depth?
