ABOUT DRESSRELIEF
My name is Mariel, and I started getting into fashion in the past few years and am learning so much about it. I'm drawn to fashion as I believe it is an art form that not only allows individuals to express themselves but also creates a history and record of different time periods and generations. I've had a lot of fun learning how to put together outfits and use different styles to tell a story through the way I dress. I started this channel to share what I learn along my fashion journey and hopefully help others learn and find their style as well.

I post videos 1-2 times a week (every Saturday or Sunday!), mostly regarding fashion but may include a few beauty/makeup and lifestyle related videos as well. If you're interested in this content, please give my channel a shot and subscribe

I LOVE THIS! my style is earthy gothic fairy bookish librian vibes??? so I really love fairy core :D its adorable!!
  • If you are gonna start dressing like this, GO THRIFTING! Almost all or my clothes are thrifted :) it’s good for the environment, the stuff you find is unique, and affordable :D
  • i’ve always hated my wardrobe, i never dress like how i want to. i feel like my actual style is a mix of grunge fairycore and downtown girl aesthetic? idk. i love it, and i’m excited to dress like it.
  • fairy grunge is my favorite aesthetic and i plan to start dressing like that as a slowly start getting more money >:D
  • Yes! I'm so excited by this video. I can't wait to start dressing like this again. I think it's the best reflection of my truest self. I describe my style as fairy grunge, sometimes kind of 'fairy academia' because I love waistcoats and smart coats. Overall I like to look like a strange, whimsical new professor at Hogwarts.

i really like this aesthetic because a lot of the clothes and accessories are handmade and/or easy to find in thrift stores. so one, its more affordable for me, two, less likely to support fast fashion, three pretty accessible (personally), four, so creative and fun. most importantly, its so pretty

I have created my own aesthetic, it’s called “Mystic Elfcore”. It’s a mix between goblincore, fairycore, hippie. It can also include some Witchy things in case you are a witch (like me)! There are also a few elements that remind of dark academia (example: 1800’s pocket clocks and ribbons). “Elfcore” because i love elves, and you can pretty much include elf ears in any outfit <3

I feel like the difference between fairy core and grunge fairy is just like the difference between light and dark academia Also can you maybe make a video on how to dress in multiple aesthetic without having to have multiple different wardrobes? love your content ! 💕

I really like how now it's normal to wear clothes that are fairycore. My experience with this style was bad, bc at this moment in my school nobody dressd like that, people assumed me as a with for wearing fairycore clothes and jewerlies and I got bullied for that. Ths video and the comments tbh made me happy. In my country since it's not really popular to dress like that I will still be called with slurs, but at least now more people gets to know and starts dressng in the fairycore style. Remember people you should dress like how you want and not make the mistake that I made 3-4 years ago to dress like how other people expect from you to dress. I love the video and your voice is super adorable:D

When I was in middle school high school I couldn’t put my finger on my aesthetic so I just used to say gothic princess but the fairy core grunge is so beautiful
  • @tyunniez
completely unrelated but i really love how fluid your way of speech is, it’s so easy and entertaining to listen to you explaining all these aesthetics, thank you! <3

  • @chadnuttle5424
i feel a CLOSE connection to "witchy" vibes but the clothes were never for me. i finally was able to find an aesthetic to mix with my tarot and crystal addiction: fairygrunge and cottagecore! i can finally be free to express myself without looking plain or wearing clothes that i dont feel comfortable in!
