Thank you, Steve. When you recognize so much from the smallest remnants, it is hard to witness. I am glad you are documenting. Never in a million years did I think our beloved Lahaina would disappear from the earth.

It's great to know that some food establishments are reopening. It's sad for those that have greater damage to their property. Also, that whole Olowalu toxic dumping idea seems like a horribly bad thing for that beautiful area. What are they thinking????

I support the Maui Humane Society but skipping the island for my bi-annual Hawaii trip this year. Too much confusion on going/not going is the right thing to do. That restaurant you feature at 3:09 is one of my favorite places to eat and have coffee.
