Ireland is officially recognising the State of Palestine.

“Today, Ireland, Norway and Spain are announcing that we recognise the State of Palestine,” said Taoiseach Simon Harris, speaking on the steps of Government buildings.

Harris described it as a “historic and important day” for Ireland and for Palestine.

A cynic would say that recognising the State of Palestine at this particular time is because there are elections coming up and they want the younger vote from Pro Palestinians

You would think the Irish government would recognise the state that Ireland has become before looking elsewhere

If only they could Recognise the state their own Country is in..Diabolical State..Migrants Crisis..Health Crisis..Housing Crisis...etc. etc..

Will they now recognise the state of Ireland??
  • Can we now decree that Ireland is a Sovereign State, Mehole? Even though you said that "We must get rid of this " Old Fashioned" idea of Sovereignty" 😂😂🤪🤪🤪🤪

Any chance they could recognise the State of Ireland 🇮🇪 and close the borders.

Do they recognise the Basque country ,they are such cringe the 3 fools
  • What a load of rubbish about our right to self determination etc. the way this government is treating the Irish people is totally contrary to the those ideals Harris recited. I’m sick of those posers and hypocrites
  • While I totally agree with Self Determination for Palestine and its People, along with all other Countries and their People's to be able to live in their own Native Land free of outside interference and free of change of Culture, Language, and Heritage. The Irish People today are asking for the same freedoms, Our Culture, Language, and Heritage to be Protected from outside mass immigration and Brussels and Westminster. Is this too much to ask on behalf of the Irish People?? I certainly hope not.

yeah, that's fine, but let's be honest. In this particular escalation of the conflict it's the Palestine that attacked the Israel. Israel has equally same rights to be there, this land was given to them by the UN.

Maybe work on the six counties first, before moving onto the middle east.
