Absolutely love this format, you talk, share your experience, links and pictures pop up, it’s short, to the point and informative. Learned a lot really quickly and I love that, thanks!!
  • Nice informative video. I started in the 80s with a digitech s8000. Got an rc50 which I used til I got an rc600. Love it, does most everything. Best to all you loop loop loopers.
  • @18nomah
Appreciate being straight to the point. RC600 might be the best option for keyboards too and maybe even for mics. The 32 bits and 6 channels plus all the effects means Head rush is the only real competitor.
  • Thank you for making this video! The only thing I have to ask is, of the newest BOSS Flagship loopers (505mkII/RC600), I saw other review videos that showed that sometimes the units can randomly glitch the audio into an uncontrollable glitch mess. Do you know how prevalent that was on the units that were released, and/or if the current firmware is stable and non-glitchy?
  • Thanks for the video. I have both the RC-600 and the 505 MK2. I’m mostly a guitarist and use a footswitch on the 505 assigned to “rec current track” that makes for hands free recording when I need it. Controlling loops and FX with hands once they are recorded is super fun on the 505. However my RC-600 pedalboard is definitely a more compact and portable set up. I’ve gigged all summer switching between the two set ups. I really have to decide to commit to one or the other though. As you know with looping muscle memory is really important

I am trying to decide between the Boss RC5 and the Ditto +. Can’t find any direct comparison videos for those two.
  • @yojohnny5
I'm a guitar player... But I like the visual clues and faders on the 505 Mk2. I think I have decided on that with a footswitch as an upgrade to my RC30 (Although I am still kind of considering the Aeros Loopstation... lol.) Decisions, decisions.

3:30 I only wear Buffalo plateau boots ^^ I even adjusted my bike for pedaling with those on. So I tend to practice with those shoes on even at home to get used to it. Also helps that I currently use the BOSS RC 50 which is just a tank, so I'm not afraid to step on it.

Hey Brent! I'm looking to buy a loop station for live performances. I'm primarily a vocalist, but I also dabble in keys and bass guitar. I'd love to be able to build some a capella style harmonies for my gigs. Just wondering if you would recommend the RC-600 or the RC-505 MKII for that? Thanks so much :) Great video!
  • @daveyboyd784
What's the best choice for user friendly, bedroom looping where creativity is the focus and live performances aren't really much of a concern? I'm looking to get a looper that will open up creative possibilities for songwriting.
  • @joshL28
Hi I’m a guitarist that also plays a little bass and keyboard, who’s trying to get into looping and was wondering if I should just jump straight into the deep end and buy the RC 600. I’m the type of guy that loves to fiddle with new equipment, read the manual, and learn the ins and outs of everything. Plus I’m a buy it for life kind of person who likes to buy something once instead of replacing it over and over down the line, unless absolutely necessary. Would you recommend the 600 or is it truly too complicated for a beginner? Or would the 500 be more than enough to use for most loopers? I know some people who just stick to the 5 or 10r.
  • Hi Why would you advice a 505 MK2 for someone playing keys instead of a 600 🤔 ? The point of having a pedal instant of a handy looper is to keep our hand free to play instruments. I may not get the point of your comment.... Could you explain why this choice please ? I do live finger drumming and keys and i am looking for the best looper i could buy during the next week . Do you get my point ? Less i use my hand on the looper more there available for my performance on keys or pads
  • @demiansims728
If I want to have 3 loops going, be able to turn them on and off and edit/delete on the fly, which one would fit the bill?
  • I play harmonica and guitar, wanna be able to loop them both. What should i buy? Simple as possible.
  • @LeeGee
    Brent Brown published those subtitles.
  • Headrush vs RC 600? I think I would pay up a bit for Headrush based on what I have researched, and watched on Tube of You
  • Is it important to have a laptop to use this looper effectively? Or should i be able to work with it without
  • @Pyriscent
Flexible shoes? Muscle memory? You made me realize that looping is an art form that I have barely touched. I just picked up this unit about 5 minutes after watching your video at Guitar center. I'm excited to get to using it while busking.

Why did you sell the boomerang and what did you replace it with and why? Im a current boomerang user
