I am SHOCKED by the prices and the quality of places you've shown 😫 I left London in July 2022 and our last flat was next door to Victoria Park, 2 bedroom (old but well looked after by the landlord), in a safe, gated group of flats AND had a parking space included for £1800pcm.... Looks like I won't be moving back anytime soon 🥲 Best of luck with your search Taz and may the odds be in your favour 🙏xx
  • These prices and insane and forcing Londoners out. I moved to Vietnam from London 3 years ago and this video made me want to never to move back! When I left I was paying £850 for a small room in a shared house. For £600 pm I now live in a 2 bedroom serviced apartment, in an awesome area with access to outdoor and indoor pools. Thank you for posting. I hope you find something you love at a bargain price.

Girl, 2k for a south Ken studio is a joke. I’ve lived in Kensington and Chelsea for 15 years and trust me as nice as it is, if you can get a proper home for the same price in north or Clapham DO IT!!!!!

I REFUTE paying someone else’s mortgage at these prices. Absolutely not, this is disgusting… I am so over the housing crisis in the UK. This is absolute pure greed…

Ohhh my days, the first flat in clapham common, the tenant was still living there but the state of his toilet bowl......like he never cleans the toilet and toiley lid was open for all to see, surely he could of out a bit of effort for the people viewing his flat

Im on a decent salary, yet couldnt give that much for rent. You work from home and really don't need to waste such amounts every month to fill london landlords pockets. If I were in your position, I would consider less inflated city. Good luck though
  • girl i suggest not filming the street the buildings are on for your own safety incase u decide on that area. in fact i wouldn't even suggest sharing the area😣
  • @Hazmatti
Those rental prices are crazy! cant believe landlords in London get away with charging that much!
  • Girl, I pay 1450£ for one bed, living room and kitchen separate, with a garden and a garage. It’s not in Kensignton, but it’s close to station and decent area. And I love it. Could never pay 2000£ for a studio, but to each their own I guess.
  • I still remember your first flat in London where everything was falling apart. Can't wait for the content in the new place!

Move to edinburgh which is gorgeous in summer and put your stuff in storage!
  • The inside of that toilet in the first one :/ What are landlords doing in London? Charging all of that money and not maintaining the property.

I love the way you edit your videos! It was very insightful, thanks for your hard work!

As someone from the South East, this makes me cry!! I have friends in 2/3 bedroom houses here who only spend 1k on their mortgage per month. If you have savings behind you Taz, you could look into buying long term. Obviously not for just 3 months though! 😅
  • @emnazalila
my day is instantly better as soon as taz uploads a video
  • @roibot1122
I used to rent a 1 bedroom in zone 2 for £1300 2 years ago... granted, the inflation crisis has shot things up, but £2000 for a 1 bedroom??? Screw that shit!
  • Watching Taz moving to new homes has been a journey for me🥺🤌🏻
