As a person who likes to play rec occasionally and ends up playing with randoms. It is easy to tell which randoms have some IQ and which ones have no IQ at all. A lot of these folks ain’t never played no team sport a day in their life

Man people in rec are really disturbed people I remember I had 32 no misses and I had 12 assists 3 rebounds 3 steals 2 fouls 2 turnovers and I was talking just telling them to cut just basic calls and after we won they all came to game chat and said I was trash and had no life. I only get one day off and I can only play 2k for 4 hours once a week

I realized rec randoms got worse around 2k20 when the park became an absolute sweat fest. All the bums ran to a different game mode thinking shit was sweet so they could avoid losing and still do because they lack basic basketball IQ

I really try to go in the rec solo only when I have a PG out these days. I find if I run point and go pass heavy early, I can consistently keep the ball in my hands and do my best to keep the team chemistry by getting everyone buckets. Oc, you do occasionally end up with 4 absolute bums who don't have the IQ to see the buckets you're setting them up for, but I digress 😟
