  • My guess is that the home has not been lived in for about 1 1/2 to 2 years. The interior plants were all completely dead (looked like straw) and the floors had large dust balls from pollen build up. Otherwise, the interior had been kept clean and someone abruptly left with obvious plans of not abandoning the home. I say this based on the heavy sweater/coat being thrown over the top of a couch nearest the door. Most likely someone had been home, received a phone call and rushed out the door during the fall/winter a year or two prior and because of that phone call; they never came back. The outside decking is is need of water sealer and cleaning, etc. Looks like the decks have not been cared for for at least three winters. (Typical for the average home owner to treat their decks every other year) so the two years treatment cycle would have been up the winter prior. The outside plants in the flower pots are most likely perennials. If you pay close attention you can see the old, dried out plant life still in the pots along with the new green vegetation.

Someone really loved that house... You can see they were into doing their own projects. What a shame. Thanks for sharing 😎

I love a house with patios, balconies ,outside sitting areas. When I win the lottery the house I get will have porches, and balconies like this and better.

It's also possible that there was someone's home and they were having a hard time keeping it up because there an elderly person maybe something like that.
  • @gypseenomad3956
Exactly Linda. That's not abandoned, it's someone's vacation home.
  • @TheMarinemom02
She says as she’s reading “due to the following reasons”...but he’s just blah blah blah and walks away....
  • Wow, sad to see that place sitting empty. It will probably be damaged by people or weather. Lovely place that ought to be lived in. Thanks of sharing

I don't want you to ever tell us where these places are - some idiots would come and destroy them.
  • What a shame such a beautiful home ended up this way. You can see that it was loved in the past. Shame that the people who owned it have had to lose it like that
  • Probably a fore closure by the looks of the paper work on the door.....very sad
  • @jomontanee
Foreclosure in USA rule is you can't take anything from your house and you need to get out right away once it's officially foreclosed. That's why we see the good furniture and belongings left behind.
  • Oh what a wonderful place to be! thank you for the tour.. too bad the owners had to leave.. Great potential for someone else who will love it Xo
  • Just saw a video of this place done in 2019, still abandon still has all the stuff in side. They were able to go in side, it has gotten bad in just 3years. Wish I could remember who it was.
  • @spotedlady
OMG, would love to own that place but would be so much work to keep it I shape.  Such a shame that someone doesn't buy it and live there.  What a joy to wake up in the morning at that place.
  • @TommyVextFan75
Beautiful piece of property. I would love to own that. Must've been a foreclosure. So sad to see it all go to waste like that
  • @lindafarner9755
I don’t think this house was abandoned. Someone come there. Place is clean and they have plants everywhere. Might be a summer home
  • @bevsanders8630
From the real quick look you gave us of the back yard when you climbed the steps it looks like someone has been keeping the majority of grass under control.
  • Thank you so much for the lovely tour...i wonder what happened to the family of such a BEAUTIFUL home....This is my hobby. Looking at ghost homes...I live near TOMBSTONE AZ....there are many ghost towns in the area. Happy hunting friend!
