The progression of Rocket's character can't go unappreciated. And yea, Ceasar's death broke me too. I sat in the theater totally still and silent while the credits ran.
  • I love that scene when Caesar shouts " Leave him", because it brings you back to the Caesar who stood up for the apes from Rise and Dawn. Caesar shows why he is the leader in that moment because he isn't afraid to defend his species and show compassion and strength.

bad ape was the comic relief we need in a way more darker story.
  • I love Rockets arc, he went from a dumb brute kicking Ceasars ass, to becoming one of his most devoted followers and brother in arms.
  • "Oh Maurice. He's so friendly but I bet he stank." 😂 You wild for disrespecting my unc like that.
  • Bad Ape was essential in providing some comic relief after that heartbreaking scene with Nova giving Caesar water.... Shouts out to Steve Zahn
  • Andy Serkis deserves all the heaps of praise he got for playing Caeser. An absolutely fully realized and devastating performance.

At the end Caesar died the same way moses did, bringing his people to the promise land, but not getting to enjoy it with them, instead dying while looking down upon his new land for his people

The next one, Kingdom is a really interesting start to a new trilogy. Theres a time jump of a few hundred years and you get to see Caesars impact and legacy continue/corrupted
  • I'm always surprised people don't notice how Ceaser died like Moses, leading his people to the land of milk and honey but not able to enter himself and instead dying within sight of it.

NOVA was the female human in the original Planet of the Apes with Charlton Heston. He gave her that name.

The fact that this all happened cause Koba was a selfish piece of shit is so annoying even tho he’s a badass and I love the fuck out of that character.

Son will know who was father... And what Caesar did for us....
  • Caesar when out like Maximus did he free his people great ending of this trilogy, sad but happy at the same time!
  • This movie is EVERYTHING that the concluding chapter of a trilogy should be. Epic.
