Combing your hair is actually part of the tabs
-
When you watch this in Japan his fingers are blurred out.
-
If I practiced every single day, 8 hours a day, for the next 3 years… I MIGHT be able to consistently do the thing where he runs a hand through his hair.
-
One of the very few people who've actually completed guitar including all side quests and easter eggs.
-
When the guitar said: "WAHWAHWAHWAHWAH", I felt that.
-
This has really inspired me to sell my guitar
-
This must be one of the most complete guitar songs ever written…… it literally has everything.
-
That's why Steve Vai is unique, the amount of emotions and passion he put into guitar playing is amazing to watch.
-
Odd...i remember being fully clothed when i started this video...
-
It's truly incredible. I hope this guitar was 18

Saw this man live 2 days ago. Met him, talked to him. My wife and I got our guitars and other things signed. Being at a Steve Vai concert isnt about "Hearing" or "Seeing" it live. It's an experience. It's about feeling it. Moments where I shed a tear in his performances. Even my wife shed a few tears too. If you're ever wondering if the EVO experience is worth it. It really really is.
-
I bought a Pia, primarily because of this piece. Learning it now, will report back.
-
My brother practiced for hours over years to be like Steve Vai. We put ‘A Tender Surrender’ on his crematorium plaque. He was 21. RIP Mikey.
-
Steve Vai for many people is the reason to play guitar. And also the reason to quit to play it.
-
My father once told me, "son, you need to find a woman that handles you like steve vai handles the guitar in tender surrender"
-
I was 15 when I listened to this for the first time… 20 years later, it feels just like the first time! Thank you, Steve
-
If you listen closely, there's a band in the background too...
-
The guitar smoked a cigarette after this
-
3:39 is my favorite part, that tapping is absolutely incredible and you can see how really into it he is because his eyes roll back into his head and everything, this guy really is one of the greatest ever
-
the lick at 3:10 is absolutely mystical, Steve you’re a guitarist sent from heaven!!
