This movie is like some sort of weird fever dream. Haven’t seen it in probably 30 years.

As a very, very young boy, this was ALWAYS my favorite cartoon... now, over 67 years old, it STILL IS! ❤

oh Man major nostalgia..I had this on vhs. The part the used to scare me was when the scarecrow froze and changed to a snowman..I don't know why lol
  • Glad to see that this wonderful cartoon was watched by children from all over the world. It brings indeed so much childhood nostalgia. I used to watch it in France, Paris, in late 80's and early 90's. Magical. They never do such masterpiece anymore nowadays. Computer-assisted animation killed artful, hand-drawn, old-school cartoons.

Hell yeah. My great grandfather showed this to me when I was 5 (1989). It used to creep me out like nothing else. But I absolutely love it and reminds me of my great grandfather. May he live forever.

Bloody hell, I’ve been dreaming snippets of this cartoon the last couple of years, but couldn’t remember what it was exactly!I but I Had this and other Christmas cartoons on vhs when I was around 5/6 years old!!!

Not sure why people think it's a scary cartoon. Getting ready for school during 1980s mornings or Saturday morning cartoons. These were always on . A true era gone by.

Old Man Winter still scares me to this day. And I'm 27 going on 28
  • 🤠 I wish that they still play these old classic cartoons on television yet, I do miss watching them back from the day. The 1980s had everything that you wanted to watch, especially when it came to the Christmas cartoons. This one is still one of my favorite.

My favorite thing out of this is the scatting scarecrow!
  • @slashermaster28
I always remember as a kid, I used to think that scarecrow was actually saying something and I just didn't understand it. Now that I realize he was scatting, I can't help but wonder why the bear responded by bragging about his fur again, especially since the scarecrow didn't exactly seem to disapprove of him being outside.
  • The old days of entertainment will always have a unique feeling that can't be replicated.

My boys loved watching this when they were little, around 1985. They never thought it was scary.
  • This. I thought was a fever dream of my childhood and could never find the vhs tape among my parents tapes as an adult. Thank you from my childhood.
