Published 2012-08-21
The road to Hana is an awesome adventure. Planning a trip to Maui? Experience the road to Hana right now! No worries! We'll do the driving, sit back, relax and enjoy the journey! We'll take you around the entire East Maui coastline, hiking the bamboo forests, Waianapanapa State Park, Hamoa Beach, Haleakala National Park, Kipahulu, 'Ohe'o Pools aka "Seven Sacred Pools", Waimoku Falls a spectacular 400 ft waterfall, Kaupo.

Thanks for watching! If you're on island, come by and visit us at the Maui Swap Meet, every Saturday from 7am-12pm!

Things to remember if you're going to Hana:

~Allow a full day for this trip, take time to enjoy the experience.
~Respect the locals.
~Don't Trash Paradise, take your litter with you.
~This ain't the mainland... so take it slow, enjoy the drive, but pull over if others need to get around.
~There are many one-way bridges, show some aloha with yielding and a friendly wave when others yield for you.
~This isn't Disneyland, there are dangerous cliffs and flash floods here. Use your own good common sense and play safe.

Nice job! We just got back from Maui. We went on an overnight journey to Hana and saw many of the locations you visited. We were lucky to have dry sunny weather. I cannot believe how different the waterfalls are in your video! For us the 400' falls was barely a trickle. It was a bit of an anticlimax after the 2 mile hike (although the journey through the bamboo forest was awesome). I also recommend the easy hike up to Fagan Cross above Hana - we got a beautiful view of the village and bay.

I cannot tell you how much I love your channel. You give me everything I need in one area - access to loads of reviews of great products. Access to makeup tutorials. Access to decorating ideas. Access to storage and crafting ideas. Access to travelling in a beautiful location. Access to day in the life videos. The variety and breadth of your channel is phenomenal. I never know what to expect, but I love all of it!

You've become on of my favorite YouTubers because of the variety of your channel. Of course we all know you love beauty products but seeing other things you're interested in makes it even better! So glad you keep showing us around Hawaii.

I have been watching YT beauty vids for about 3 year+ and only just found you??? Oh well, I've subscribed now. I'm sitting here in Yorkshire, England on the 30th Aug looking out of my window and the dull dreary day with rain falling. You live in paradise. It looks beautiful.
  • I like how you and your hubby go out and just explore. Such great memories you are making. I enjoy your vlogs immensely. They just relax me and maybe someday I will visit those awesome places you film. Thank you so much.

one of the best hana Clips ive ever seen. mahalo for bringing back all those great memories. ive spent about 10 months of my 5 years on maui in hana and kipahulu. do you know the secret tunnel at the mouth of oheo river?you jump in a pool, swim thru the tunnel, come up in another pool and be completly out of sight from where you started? panicing visitors would run to the ranger and tell him about the blonde guy, whos gone 5 minutes. uncle Eddie Puu would say : yeah i know him, hes a fish...

Oh Christine, this was wonderful; I just love you both so much. Thank you for doing such a great travel video. I wish everyone would use your Things To Remember everywhere they go! We get tourists too, and think this would work even more so in the cities. I'll show my hubby the bamboo and he'll be so jealous! He grows the timber bamboos and struggles to keep them happy. Thank you again, Susan
