In two years I spent over $1,000 on planner stickers because, you know, I HAD to have them. What a waste of money! I donated probably 80% of them to the local library for the children's section for projects. I do use my planner religiously, though. I would be a leaf in the wind if I didn't have it. I have a section of my planner to keep track of all my bills being paid that includes a budget worksheet. This method is a lifesaver in addition to my cash binders.

Great video. I thought I was the only one writing all my expenses down as soon as I got home😂 I started to do a monthly check-in and show the hubby how much we have saved and now he's always asking me every month. Cash stuffing is great and has helped me so much. I have been learning loads too especially with your videos. ❤
  • I'm starting our budget this month. Which also encourages my adult kid to s start budgeting too!

Just woke up and watched this video while drinking my coffee. What a way to start the day. Feeling motivated ❤☕🐝

❤❤ I'm still curious how things have changed and am here to keep on learning!

Hey, great video. I cut off my cable and home phone in order to stay in budget. I was paying over 240 dollars a month. Now, I am only paying 75 dollars a month. It made a huge difference.

I needed this video. I re-configured my budget to pay my bills in it's entirety vs setting out a little each paycheck. Using your method is going to allow for the bills to be paid in full. I was forgetting to set amounts aside each week. Definitely a better method.

Thank you for all of these informative videos! Very helpful. I have been on a zero based budget for almost 2 years now and it helped me pay $20K worth of credit card debt off.

Thank you Jenn for doing this series and more importantly, this video. I was able to start utilizing a Paycheck budget worksheet since I am biweekly, and oh boy does it help me to see how I can get to zero and show that every little bit saved is a win!
  • Another good one Jenn. Thank you for doing this series. The whole time I was watching this one I was thinking about an acquaintance who just asked for help in reining in her spending. I am definitely going to recommend she watch these 3 videos. Thank you.

Thank you for this video, Jen! Loved it ❤❤I tried zero based budgeting for a few months then realised that I work better with a rollover based budget instead. Just want to say that budgeting really has no right or wrong answers - we just keep trying and keep learning! It's perfectly okay to scrap that budget we spent so much time working on, because it may not be working out for us anymore at that particular season/moment in our lives. Our lives keep changing, so should our budgets ❤

Another great video, Jen! I've learned so much while developing my budget. I've switched from a monthly to a bi-weekly budget because i didn't like being in the "red" while waiting for a check. I got spreadsheet budget spreads based on which half the month I'm on. Each half has it's bills that need to be paid that period, so I just copy the sheet for the next cycle. My spending categories are what are what I'd like to spend for a whole month divided in half. And I've followed April's digital cash stuffing. Seeing the money I'm saving in my spreads along with watching both 2 sister bees channels has really helped me out.

Thank you so much for this video. I’m looking to get out of debt ASAP. I’m just done with living paycheck to paycheck!! I appreciate your help. PS- I’m guessing you’re in NorCal since you pay PG&E. Thanks again!
  • @deeplansandbudgets
This is such good information. Basic personal finance is just no longer a thing people are taught or talk about.
  • @AFBudgets
If we miss one paycheck. It puts us behind a couple months. And we have no extra 400 or 100. Every dollar Is uses because we are so extreem low income. I cash stuff to try and get us out of dept.

I have been working in coming up with a budget. Your videos have been so much help. I even have started helping 2 single parents work on their budgets. 1 of the girls saw me working on mine and asked what I was doing, and away we go! First I shared your YouTube channel with them of course told them which 1s to start watching. I absolutely love helping people any way I can!!!! Thank You!!!!!
  • This past week was a spending frenzy. I am pretty much starting from nothing. I almost touched my savings challenges. We all fall down, but the only place to go is up!
  • @torinawilliams1962
Thanks for your help. I have been very discouraged wanting to give up, but I’m trying not too.
