4th Grade Curriculum Picks

In today's video, I'm sharing all about my upcoming 4th grader's curriculum picks. Discussing language arts, handwriting, spelling, typing, space science, math and history. No, we will not be doing all of that every single day. I will rotate some of those subjects.
I want to be an encourager to you. You and your child are right where you need to be! I hope you hear that and take that to heart. Don't get wrapped up in the comparison game. Keep doing what you are doing and your child will get there. Making them feel comfortable in there space with the one that they love will help them grow. You got this!

I have a fourth grader this year too! We pulled our daughter from public school after grade one because she was showing a lot of dyslexic behaviors when it came to reading, which in turn affected every subject. We were told she was only a little behind, but progressing and that she’d be fine. What we were told, and what we were seeing at home was not at all the same. She was really struggling, and she was absolutely miserable. All About Reading has completely changed everything for her. This is our third and final year using AAR reading as we’re into level four now. We’re also using Explode the Code and All About Spelling level 3. It’s a really awesome trio! We’re using Math With Confidence too!! I love what you said about using whatever level is right for your kid and not worrying about their grade or age. So true! I’m so thankful for the freedom of homeschooling and how it is such a blessing and privilege to be able to customize everything for every need. Also, I love your hair and nails! ❤
