What a pair of characters that old couple are. Salt of the earth, with a cool old garage

Very nice and rare to find this sitting in a barn like this . Would be nice to see her brought back to the day when she was brought off the factory line . I love seeing these videos. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely love the video! These folks and their stories are worth more than any dollar amount that ANYONE could offer them for this gorgeous gem! Proud to know that there are people cut from this cloth still left in this big old world! Thank you so much to the owners and everyone who put this together! God bless you!
  • I've known about the Falcon Challenger race cars since the '80s, even written about them for a Falcon club newsletter. And now I'm looking at the first one, Challenger 1. Amazing!

What a life….. and obviously a wife that loves him and adore him… and you get to play with cars all day…. What a life….

This guy occasionally comes up in forum talks. Specifically about why he never washes it or repairs it. it's a point of contention for most in the mustang world. At the end of the day, it's his car and he can do what he wants with it.
  • Watching this nice old couple with their old Shelby and then wowed. I was not expecting that shop. Total “Worlds Fastest Indian” vibe.

Cool story Jerry, always enjoy your videos.
  • Back in 1966 My older cousin had one of those Hurst Shelby's as a leased company car and it was stolen while he and his family went to dinner. The police found what was left of the car less than 2 hours later it was just the shell

I love it, just the way it is. Restoring that car would be a travesty, it’s lived its life, and shows its scars. A genuine time capsule
  • Great story Jerry. I bet Tom and Maryann have a plan for the gt350 we just won't ever know, because true keepers will never let a soul know that it would ever be for sale. God bless em!

Great video and an awesome story. One that would not have been told to the masses without your channel. I wish I'd taken the time to make the 60th and see it in person. Well done!

Another great story, thank you Jerry. Those folks are wonderful and such a breath of fresh air vs. the typical self-promoting types in the hobby. I hope that gentleman has some help to get all those projects/customer cars done! - Ed on the Ridge
  • What a cool couple to meet and an awesome place to see... There was a Hertz like that near my college and I would stop in and ask to buy the Shelby. Very nice older man who no longer drove, never said yes, though his family wanted him to. 🙂 All the best in your years ahead.
