Dumpster diving should be an Olympic Sport! WE might not get a gold medal but we would definitely get an E for Effort, or is it A for Effort? 😁🐸 Well We had a busy week this week. Back to school prep for the kiddos and the normal 9-5 grind. BUT we did get to have a Friday Night Date Night Diving! AND OH EMM GEE, as the kids say, we got some crazy scores! We are a Married couple who have been salvaging, restoring, saving food, electronics, toys, furniture and anything that is able to be saved from dumpsters before filling landfills. People dump so much good into landfills it's just crazy. We go out and check random dumpsters at random times to see what we can save, reuse, recycle and share. We also like to do bulky item pickup saves. We have been doing this for several years together and decided to post our passion on YouTube.

    We have frozen chocolate but you are better off just putting the chocolate and candy in a fridge. Works much better.

    Chocolate is like wax it melts when heated, solidifies when cooled but still does what it’s supposed to do.😅

    You found a lot of stuff. Don't worry, the chocolate will be fine after you freeze it, it may not be the same shape, but chocolate is chocolate in my book! All of that food you found will be a great donation. Hopefully you do keep some of it for yourselves too.

    If you ever unload a truck from groceries at a store, you will find out that some of the cases are hot hot hot from the back of the truck that came from across different states. The heat doesn't seem to hurt can goods.

    A good thing about cereal is if you donate it to Bread & Blankets, they can give it to the homeless. There’s nothing wrong with eating it dry, you don’t have to have milk with it.
