  • @Mdxfiend
"don't be fooled by two dudes in one pie slice" that sounds vaguely dirty lol
  • @finn.04
8:00 that may be bcs you don't get radar when ads-ing. But I could've misunderstood that and you described the effect while wearing knucklehead
  • @coleomans1277
Nope, I never thought I knew this stuff. I only have 3 titan brain cells. One is dedicated to shotguns, another to punching, and another to crayons 🖍
  • @re11ek
If I remember correctly based off of a drewski video, the crouching out of invis thing was true for a while but was patched at some point.
  • @Aj-py8en
The crouching after invis was a thing until season of arrivals where it was fixed.
  • @elliehugg
8:02 so what you're telling me is that if I ADS my radar goes away isn't this common knowledge????
  • @lukewilson1282
The crouching after invis trick used to work, but Bungie patched it with the start of Season of Arrivals. It was a thing before that though. Edit: Sliding also used to take you off of radar, but they removed that function at some point as well.
  • @Xerkxes
To be fair about the "sliding to hide from radar". When you slide, your personal Icon comes off the radar just like when you crouch normally and it "blinks". I actually thought for a while till today that it worked because of that alone.
  • @AJ-tc9nr
It's surprising how big the sliding radar misconception is. I think it's mostly due to toggle crouch. They might be getting the radar effects of the crouch after the slide rather than during the slide.

Radar 301: you can play hard-to-get around a piece of cover with D2 radar just like in Halo, the technique is just much more difficult to pull off. By turning your body back and forth you can make a single guardian stratal the line between pie slices. If one slice lights up longer than expected, you can assume your opponent changed directions and you can change to match and keep them chasing you around your obstruction of choice. This is very difficult to do affectively. You need a much larger obstruction to dance around with the standard D2 radar too. And using a hunter exotic/subclass that gives you more detail makes it feel much more like it would in Halo. It was insanely cool to be featured. Thanks Fallout!

Knucklehead Radar for Hunters is great especially if you’re using Mida-Multitool.
  • @cej3940
As a scout rifle + borealis main (yes we exist), that last tip was so damn useful Also about the slides, I believe Cammy had put out a video a while ago talking about how people abused slides because they would give that crouch radar drop thing hence why there was a comment talking about it
  • @imdemi3688
I really love your videos. That screen bounds thing is amazing, I've my settings like that since when i was playing CoD for the exact same reason
  • @Lillithlefey
Thank you for this and the other video! A friend sent them to me and it has helped my PVP game so much. I've never had time to really study the radar donuts great to know what I'm looking at now. Again, thank you!
  • @nexum9977
I know it's an old video, but something might come handy, there is a program called ontopreplica which enables you to capture a game window, adjust the area, and overlay it on top of the game itself, that enables you to make radar bigger and move it whenever you want (also you can enable click through) Great video, thanks!
  • @LastNameInTown
Cool info about Ace and Mida. Great work Fallout! I have learnt something from both vids and taught people what you passed on. Thank you. ✌️
  • @samuelbulow5291
I think that last one about screen bounds works on console too... I changed my screen for that reason a long time ago. Maybe it's just my tv or something tho.
