Having one sword stuck facing one direction while being held in the mouth sems to encourage the use of a lot of counterclockwise spinning. That would explain why Zoro himself uses techniques where he's basically spinning like a top.

Let’s be real. Zoro probably got the strongest teeth/jaw in all of One Piece if not most all Anime. Bros. Stop saying Arlong. His teeth were broken and made to regrow. Zoros teeth are unbroken in manga. Even skinny Wapol has a manga panel of missing a tooth after being kicked by luffy. Zoro has never had this artistic expression. Dudes teeth are more durable than the gorosei

It really shows that confidence makes such a big difference between looking cool with a sword and looking goofy. The final scene doing 3-sword style looks totally plausible because you’re completely serious performing it!
  • @jamesvan2201
This just shows how manly zoro actually is to be able to carry a full weight, real sword between his teeth. That always made my teeth and jaw hurt, just watching him do it.

it's crazy to think that how zoro not just using 3 sword in a battle but also shouting all the name of the moves he does with loud and clear pronunciations as well 😂
  • @chrisalvino812
Lol, the first time I saw Zoro use the three sword style, I immediately started laughing and was like, "no way he's going to use this ridiculous style for a thousand plus episodes..." and here we are 😂
  • @gwidao123
It's interesting to me that your moves at the end actually ended up looking a lot like zoro's coreography in the live action, so i bet the coreographers had many of the same conclusions!
  • @woodbine108
This is impressive! You actually made it look cool, which is no easy feat. Also shout out to the live action for actually pulling off a fighting style that is one of the most quintessential examples of hyper-stylized, impractical and unrealistic anime nonsense.
  • @TOPA808
I love that apparently without having seen the live-action yet, he decided the only way to do Sanzen Sekai was exactly how they ended up doing it in the live-action! 🤣
  • @GreenBro11
I love that this completely ridiculous anime sword style seems just barely plausible. Like if someone really wanted to devote themselves to this style it would be incredibly dangerous, impractical, and debatably effective, but not impossible! It really adds to the fantasy aspect of One Piece.
  • @Densoro
You made it look as smooth as humanly possible! lol So many of his special attacks seem to be based on him, not swinging his mouth-sword, but dashing through the opponent and letting them run into it. So it's just a slide-transition, rather than rotational velocity. Definitely different irl xD
  • The fact it’s more dangerous and harder makes me respect zoro even more even if it was not intended.

I like how you're absolutely chill, look like a regular guy, and yet so absolutely trained and sharp

When a man considers the scene where Sanji left Baratie his favorite, he's a real man that cherishes every single breath in his life

This was a really fun video. Thank you for trying Zoro's ridiculous and completely impractical, yet totally awesome style. Your movements looked really good. It also gave me more appreciation for the stunt work in the live action One Piece. I'm sure they also used a lightweight sword, but it still seems very difficult to actually perform movements with.
  • @Ttrizzparty
This is just more proof of how good a swordsman and how strong zoro is to make this work
  • @Icydedppl1
What people didn’t realize when it came to Zoros 3 sword style was that he primarily used it to gain all the power of his swords. Each sword had a spirit of its own that he embued himself with. Other wise he’d just use 2 sword style
  • @jblen
My first thoughts as someone who knows nothing about swordplay, is that the mouth sword (assuming you have super strong teeth and neck muscles) is a permanent horizontal guard while one of the other two swords can remain held vertically/diagonal to deflect other swipes, and then the third can be used for offence even while defending completely. This is not what zoro does, but that's the thought process I had on why 3 swords may be beneficial.
