So proud of you! I am trying to rehabilitate enough to tackle the last five years of miniature acquisition. Also your cat tells me that you deny them miniatures to chew, the painted ones taste best they claim.
-
Well done on getting through your backlog. Nothing better than painting something up and it looks great and then when you're done you're just like " Why did I wait so long to paint this. that was awesome!"
-
"I don't even like dwarfs." Right to the Book of Grudges! Right away!
-
feels good getting it done hey, I've been doing it for a month so far. I plan to get all the sprues done first then move on to the metals and reaper bones. Its hard not to get distracted though I started printing a dark elf army for warhammer lol
-
Kudos for your amazing attempt at ridding yourself of the pile of shame. You did very well. Be proud and you inspire us all
-
Respect for this!

Oh man. "Pile of Shame" is the best description. I am inspired to crack on with mine. Got a full Leviathan box, a Drukhari Combat Patrol, and a Kill Team Starter.

Iām getting back into warhammer after 10 years and I am starting small. Iām gonna be playing warcry and splitting a starter box set with a friend so we both donāt a have a load to build and paint but itās still enough to get us both back into the hobby and feel good about what we accomplished!
-
Building is one of my favorite parts of the hobby. Basing and painting not so much because I'm really down on myself because of my lack of skills. But I'm working on changing that and getting more of my back log of miniatures painted. I have some 200 or so minis built and primed but only a few actually painted. Since last year I've definitely painted more in the current year.
-
At least you have something to paint, I started painting my son's plastic dinosaurs because I ran out of things to paint š
-
My strategy/goal is to build all my boxed minis, maybe also basecoat spray too. And then i have a drawer full of miniatures ready to paint. So i can choose what i want to paint quite spontaneously and its a lower bar to start.
-
I feel your building pain. Nowadays i set myself the rule of assembling 1 units or a building every day. This helped me greatly so far.
-
You did an amazing job! I need to stop making excuses and go do something similar.
-
This is fantastic!

Excellent rim jobs. I say if you aren't giving stuff away, just slop-chop/flop/plop whatever the F to put some color on plastic in the fastest way possible. You can always go back and tidy things up or completely strip models and start over. I have the opposite problem of you. I'm TOO precise and have a hard time just letting go and painting quickly, but I'm working on it. Switching more to airbrush is helping. I'll probably slap most of my pile over the holidays.
-
I would happily paint 9 models with you.
-
Very impressive clearance of the backlog. Now, which new plastic to choose!
-
sheeesh 6hrs of sleep I really envy you. Good Job!
-

This video was awesome, really enjoyed it! What colour did you use on the skeletons tunic and highlight looks so nice?
