What a scumbag Sheriff. He should be used as an example to other cops to "Don't Do It! Be Honest And Uphold The Oath You Took.
  • So basically he cops a plea and skates on 27 felonies for ripping taxpayers off.
  • THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN LAW ENFORCEMENT HAS NO OVERSIGHT.
  • Why did a volunteer fire department own all these sports and luxury cars? Corvettes and Porsche? Sounds like the entire organization is a scam just like this guy.
  • Judge Medlock is awesome The fact that he wanted to hear from the people who were affected by Noel’s crimes is commendable

As a retired LEO spending last 10 yrs of my career as a Chief of Police this is a joke! This man should spend the rest of his life in prison because this is a betrayal to the residents of his county and to the good officers within the department. There should be no plea deals allowed when it comes to LEO’s that are found guilty. I would bet just about anything that if this was a civilian guilty of these crimes they would never get a plea deal like this. Smh
  • @dbohler8640
These cases are easy to prove. No reason for them to offer him a deal.
  • @JD29903
He didn’t deserve a plea offer. Unbelievable amount of crimes.

Anyone who was delayed medical treatment or passed away due to a ambulance taking a few extra mins would be considered a victim and that judge KNOWS that. He's gonna tie him to alot of shit with that request...damn Judge. You are the MAN. Love it
  • @D1wil
That money he stole should not go to new chapel , that money shouldn’t be available for Matt Owen to get his hands on it. That money should go back to the tax payer’s.
  • Thank you judge for allowing cameras in the courtroom and for the transparency of this procedure now why isn't that an across-the-board in Indiana rule
  • The bastard stole the prisoner food funds that could of been given to prisoners. He was a piece of work stole from every walk of life the elderly and poor and taxpayers.

  • How on Earth is a SHERIFF given that kind of power to manipulate City, County, Resources?!? You’d think it would be a Mayor or a City Council Member that Thought they had Legal Slippery Slopeness to Divert public money. . . A Sheriff?!? Having the Authority to make Financial Decisions?!? So Bizarre.
