  • As someone who never uses prefabs and downloadable models, it’s funny to hear one tip be learn how to model. It’s by far the most useful tool for 3D. Don’t get into environment art without knowing modeling!

Spent the entire video nodding in agreement with everything said here, been doing this for 4 years and i amazed how similar the conclusion we came to are. Love all your work.
  • everytime i sit blender down for a few days I stumble across one of your videos and get instantly motivated to hop back in! Very inspiring work, thanks for staying consistent with the great content! always looking forward to your videos and they've helped me level up my work tremendously!

Definitely going to get your course! So much cool stuff, advice, models, inspiration, etc.
  • Hey Max, you inspire me a lot. I' genuinely shocked about how you started your 3d journey because i am currently in that exact same spot and had to go through the same thing. Thank you for all you do. -HappyNoodles

This is literally the moment I’ve been waiting for. Your work is exceptional and I’ve learned so much so quickly from all of your videos. I’ve never really been one to pay for courses and stuff because I’m stubborn and just want to learn it trial by fire style but I’m definitely gonna invest in yours.

Creating 3D environments was always my passion, you're the only Youtuber who actually focuses on that
  • I started learning blender when I was in exactly the same situation in life. I also mostly did environments. And look at me now! I've started freelancing and am earning from 3d. I couldn't have imagined these things happening 2 years ago.
  • @kaiwan
Huge congrats on the course Max, Pretty solid offer for anyone who wants to dive deeper in the world of blender and create dope visuals!
  • @Shattered3582
i have been doing blender on and off for two years now, and lately i have found videos like this quite useful. of course there is always things to learn but a lot of stuff you have to find out yourself, and there isn't always a set way of doing things
  • @DerCribben
I wish I could like this twice Max, I've been waiting for you to put out a course for a long time. You've been the artist making things that tick off all of my own personal boxes of both things I like to see as well as things I'd like to create (scale, light, life, brutalist architecture, futurism, ancient ruins, etc). I've been struggling with focus, inspiration, and motivation for months now, I think this might just be the thing that drags me out of that hole.

As someone that’s working on music production, everything you shared in your journey applies to mine as well. Success principles are always the same. Thanks for your insight and love the work you do!
  • thanks man i've just been using blender last month and sculpting really clicked for me, your words are motivating and giving me hope
  • @Gester143
Also appreciate you sharing a bit of your backstory, inspiring stuff man.
  • @mseptirymen
Hey Max, been watching your videos for a long time now. You're a huge inspiration, and I love that you made that course available to us! Will definitely be checking it out <3
  • @HeelHeatTV
Needed this video bud, thank you for the motivation. Also that pack looks dope, might need to take your course. Keep up the good work Max.
  • Love your work man! Subbed now. Great point about lighting, keeping it simple. I was always intimidated by how to light a scene, but one day this guy I was working with in film said "Start with what you can't control and work up from there", and that made approaching lighting way easier for me, it makes it methodical, not just a creative choice. One approach based on that approach is to add in a HDRI and get it to look as good as possible, then use a light or two extra in the scene to highlight what's important or way too dark. I hope that helps someone who is struggling with lighting xD

Thank You so much for this. I started Blender last year and your videos have given me a big boost in creativity and speed. Was wondering if you would ever make a course. This is awesome. Thanks again.
