Thank you for making this video , I am a 52 year old woman and I called a plumber to come out to change out my sink and he did not show up so I saw you video and followed every step and I put in my own sink and faucet all by myself thanks to your video.

Received a quote for $969.00 from a plumbing company to remove and replace my sink! Glad to find your video.

I got tired of being ignored by the repair man and did this on a whim. Thanks Big Al! I have never done this before, and my father was wary, but I sure showed him!

I watched your video 3 to 4 times, maybe 5 times. I was able to replace three bathroom sinks and faucets and install new faucet to pedestal bathroom sink. All the sinks had to get new drain pipes too. I have utility tub to replace too. Waiting for order to come in. I waited for plumber but he was no show or response after giving me estimate for two sink replacements. Had sinks and faucets sitting around for a while waiting for plumber. After saw your video, I got enough courage to try it. I read the comments too which were helpful — attach faucet to sink first before putting sink into the counter. Thank you VERY VERY VERY much for making this video and the people who shared tips through their comments. I saved almost $1300 just on labor fees for 5 sinks. I purchased the materials...sinks (not cast iron sinks), faucets, and drain pipes and p traps and waste connectors. So far no leaks on the 4 sinks I did after watching your video. Can you do a video re how to replace a shower stall faucets (mine are over 40 years old). I am still trying to get a plumber. Thanks.
  • I used to plumb but started teaching. Haven’t plumbed in 15 years. Have to replace my sinks decided to come on YouTube for a refresher. Your video is THE BEST step by step instructions I ever seen.

"A miracle has occurred, no water leaks." LOL... I know that all to well!! Good video, easy to follow. Thx

Thank you very much from a 61 year old grandmother that needed help
  • Nice work. Pro tip::: Mount the faucet with hoses and drain prior to dropping in your sink.
  • This is the BEST video I have seen on this subject thus far, I HATE having to watch videos, this is straight to the point, and seemingly easy to follow. I may leave another comment once I am finished replacing my current sinks and faucets. Thank you.

My parents have these exact sinks in their 70's style home. I just purchased new drop-in sinks with wide set holes and new faucets for them. I'll install them between Thxgvg and Xmas as my present to them since we're quarantined together and I'm not calling a plumber during this pandemic. Thank you for making this video, Big Al. This lady appreciates it.

Thank you Big Al for this video. You remind me of my father, who was a handyman/plumber. He passed away almost 7 years ago. I wish I would have learned more from him and his expertise! I will be tackling a sink replacement this weekend with your great video. Thank you!

What a lovely token of information you have provided! Thank you! I watched the full length of each of the ads within the video for compensation! Ps, I lost my father a few weeks shy of a year ago and this really felt like spending time with a dad. There was an element of healing in addition to the information.

Thank you for this video. Followed all the steps and we have a new sink and faucet LEAK FREE the first time. My husband is as handy as a screen door on a submarine - so I did it myself!

"Big Al" this is a great video. It helped me install three sinks in the bathrooms. The replaced sinks were 20-plus-year-old cast iron which rusted out, leaking from underneath the return drain -- all within a month of each other! For myself, I've found that hooking up the water lines to the faucet BEFORE you drop in the sink is most helpful. Otherwise you have to squeeze underneath and try to work pliers or a wrench under more difficult circumstances. (Less cussing for my wife to hear.)

Thank for the video, I'm a car mechanic and have no problem tackling these things, but your video is a nice refresher to make sure I don't forget anything
  • @donwatson1141
I think I would have put the water lines on the faucet before mounting the sink and the sink drain before mounting sink. Mostly because I don't fit under the cabinet so well. Thanks for taking the time to post this as I am sure it will help many people.

I'm in the process of replacing my bathroom sink. This video is perfect and still save me hundreds of dollars.

Great video! The old gal has transformed her bathroom with the help of your video!
  • Thank you so much! After years of a rusted out sink, we are finally going to replace it instead is buying a whole new vanity.
  • Thank you Jesus for these videos! 🙌🏻 I am clueless how to do anything like this, and I’m loving the fact that people like you take the time to help us less fortunate, that are not handy men, and women. 😘
