GOP Rep. Michael McCaul says Biden administration delaying weapons to Israel for "leverage"

Republican Rep. Michael McCaul, the chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, tells "Face the Nation" that in the wake of the deadly rocket attack in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, the shipments of weapons to Israel have been "delayed internationally." "We signed off on these weapons, and for some reason the administration has withheld those weapons — tactic or maybe it gives them leverage," McCaul said.

    McCaul kept referring to Trump as "The President of The United States", deliberately omitting "former".

    Actually, our intelligence has already told us though Iran is supplying these groups, they are not directing the actions of each. This has already been established. So I don’t know where you’re getting your information from but it’s not our intelligence community.

    Because of their beliefs, Muslims have often considered the Druze to be heretics and have persecuted them. This persecution has included massacres, the destruction of Druze holy places, and forced conversions to Islam. Druze have lived as outcasts under many Islamic empires, including the Fatimid Caliphate, the Mamluk Empire, and the Ottomans.  0:18
