I love how when the guy shouts "F**k Muay Thai." it's immediately followed by Tony kicking him in the face.
  • The movie that truly introduced Muay Thai to the American imagination after years of being dominated by Karate, Kung Fu, and Ninjas.

I cannot overemphasise how great the Ong Bak movies are as an epic in films. Tony Jaa is simply awesome.
  • i didnt finally watch this movie until last night. Despite its age and all the action/martial arts movies ive seen beyond 2005, this was still incredibly impressive. i feel like this movie is in a league of its own. And that first guy he got with the knee to the head legit shocked me. of all the moves to expect, a knee to the face like that. woulda got me too lolol
  • I’ve come back and I just can’t get over this man solving all of his problems with flying elbows and knees. 😂

One of the benchmarks of a really good movie is when the fight scenes look good in slow-motion. Fancy editing can make anything LOOK fast but to make it look good in slow-mo takes real talent.

Everyone who does muaj thai knows that after one knee to the rips like this, you are down for months.

6:52 Is when you realize that picking up a refrigerator to fight with is not good martial arts. What a classic film!

00:15 J'ai jamais vu une seule seconde de vidéo avoir autant d'impact sur le monde des arts martiaux ... Tony Jaa ne se rend pas compte du nombre de combattant fou qu'il a créé il est littéralement à l'origine du MMA 💪
  • @KGBeast.
The fluidity in Jaa's moves is unreal

Love it when he strikes with his knees and elbow!! So deadly and crazy 😄 He's the reason why i always wanted to learn muay thai but sadly where i'm from its so hard to find someone who knows and teaches it 😢😢
  • @iosuaiordan7600
Is no one gonna talk about how the last guy was literally grabbing and throwing everything he could see to fight Tony Jaa 😂
  • @s_k12
This is one of the greatest fighting scenes I've ever seen!
