Thank you very much for the vid! Walleye's were taking my minnows off all night. Now at least I have a chance!

Slick rig Andy. Cool thing is it’s completely and easily removable. Nice thing also, they can be made for any length tail trailing behind that hook. You fishing in the big river port Huron or Detroit area. We were out today jiggin minnows and picked up some nice eyes

you are a life saver thanks for the great video !!!!

@HotBiteFishing Thanks. I'd like to get a head start on making all the stuff I'm gonna lose this spring on the Detroit River.

thanks for sharing! if you have a hard time finding crimp sleeves a bead with a similar interior diameter will suffice.

Thanks for sharing. Awesome video!!

Excellent!

Good idea. I will have to try that.....after I tie up 400 tommorow :)

the sleeves are avilable at your local tackle shop or amazon Search American Fishing Wire Single Barrel Crimp Sleeves its the .033 single barrel crimp sleeve.

@lmporter03 I buy crimps and hooks at andy's bait and tackle ,Melvindale,Mi. I use #1 crimps inside diameter.033....not double barell
-
Why not crimp the treble hook side too? That’s what I do. Keeps the overall stinger more straight and in line
-
I do use stingers and they help. but when are the best times to go on the river. and where?
-
Where do you buy your #1 sleeves? Are they double barrel? Great video. Can't wait to hit the DR this spring.
-
they never slip off. To make them them strong use berkley big game line and AFW leader crimps

Ever have issues with these slipping off? I'm planning on making them.
