Watching them sing this song live was a bit heart breaking last year because they all looked like they were in pain. Fun fact, Pablo asked each member what kind of song they would like when he was composing songs for this EP. It was only this year that they revealed that it was Justin who asked Pau to write a song about what's happening behind the scenes. Jah said in an interview that he was suffering burn out during their WYAT tour to the point he wanted to get off the stage even before he stepped on the stage. In a preview of their documentary which will be on cinemas this Aug, he even mentioned he felt it wasn't fun to perform anymore.

No worries, Ilaw brings quite a few people to tears, including me! Their ballads are gold and really showcase how their voices work together. I love their danceable songs but their emotional renditions are what will forever keep me an A’tin. Liham (Letter), Nyebe (Snow), MAPA, Hanggang sa Huli (Until the End) and Tilaluha (Stop Crying) - you should visit these.

They cried a lot during a certain concert while singing this song.... Talk about fandom trauma. This song hits home for them 😞

Notice in the wishbus performance, no one is looking at each other, and most of the time, eyes closed. My interpretation is that even though they're a group, they each have their own struggles too, they may help each other out most of the time, but sometimes, they need to deal with their own battles alone

You know alex. Jenny @MyCupOfTv cried on NYEBE song when she livestreaming sb19's concert, the Pagtatag Finale 😊 It was actually her first time hearing that song. She even didn't know the meaning of the song. That's how music connects to your heart. And the way the boys singing it, aaah ❤ And yes, Josh's lip ring is real ^^

I think this song Ilaw(Light) describes well how those who are under the limelight and who feels overwhelm by everything, like because theyre under contract they have to project a certain persona which isnt really them and they need someone or anyone but nobody seems to hear them so in the end they feel like they lose all hope and the purpose of living and just end it so they can have peace.

And... I'm crying again. Months after first hearing this song, it still has the power to draw me into the boys' hearts and emotions. SB19 is really something else. Mental health is still somewhat taboo, especially in the older generation here in the Philippines, and Pablo, breaking norms, writes about their struggles as artists, but it is SO RELATABLE to everyone.
