  • I bought the game a few months back and finally started playing it a week ago. And i absolutely love it, my only regret is not playing it sooner.

I enjoyed Valhalla alot, for me personally, it’s the type of game you can just shut your brain off, and just go on an adventure, i liked the characters and music most of all, great review.

I loved the character. I loved playing in Norway and the atmosphere but goddamn the game just has so many fillers like medieval rap battles, running 2 miles to a treasure chest only to get ingredients, and a large boring world.

This review was so well thought out. You articulated a lot of my thoughts in this, and opened my eyes to a few other notes as a non-English person. I really appreciate the perspective on the local history and timelines. I really enjoyed this game personally, as you said it’s easy to get into when you have downtime. What you said about the super condensed map and odd placement of some of the locations definitely applies to some of the other regions in this game....but I really appreciated the representation of other cultures and languages in the different regions.
  • I pre-ordered this and had it day 1 I sank 40ish hours into it pretty quickly then came to a dead stop playing it cause I was getting bored. Picked it up again 2 weeks ago and I'm having better time now, I'm focusing more on the story and basically just doing side quests, etc as I go from place to place doing the story
  • This was a really good review. Let me go through all your reviews. I hope you do more such reviews.

Yet another high quality review with the level of thought, honesty, and humour I have come to love from you. Thank you for preserving, well worth the wait 😁

was looking for a decent review and the one that got me was this... and the ultimate review with 200 hours title. first time hearing about you and I'm glad I did. I watched the whole thing beginning to finish. I normally go for straight to the point reviews but there is something about this one that stood out. whether it was the humor, the knowledge base or even your pleasing voice lol....regardless the review was great. like some of the comments here, I may or may not pick up Valhalla right now but maybe in the future. origins and odyssey for me were pretty good ever since I left the series after black flag. but now I'm starting to get burnt out by these games again like from before. only reason why I left was it was like any other games like COD or WWE2k. just couldn't handle trying to play the almost the same game every year. like you mentioned the formula has changed over time and is a lot different than what it used to be. hopefully the next entry will go back to its roots, or maybe we'll actually get a full on eastern/asian period. chronicles doesn't count for me imo heh.

A review worthy of "The Knights Arcade". I especially appreciate your honest opinion. For me personally, your review is the best this game has produced😁 I do hope game creators will consider these reviews in an attempt to make a game that gets an review from you, equal to your KDC review, what made ppl play the game who never heared of it before, like me 😬 Good job buddy!👍🏻

Impressive video! Incredibly well structured and worded. I like it a lot
  • @LarryWater
I love watching reviews of people who played the games for over 100 of hours compared to people who rush the game.
  • @wpowell9080
This is easily the best review I have ever seen. Congrats
  • The faint stench of hope... We know it well, very well. THANKS for doing these! Great review.
  • @paulothx138
The intro is very epic, i like your humbleness, brother.
  • @JoeDillingham
I've treated this one the same way I did Origins and Odyssey. I play for a few days, then I put it down. Then I pick it up again and play for a few more days. I find I have no problem coming back into the mechanics and story with these games after some time away. I spent maybe 18 months with Odyssey and because I enjoyed it in small chunks it never felt stale. Same thing, so far, with Valhalla.

Amazing review i really enjoyed it, glad you put in more than 20 hours like these mainstream sites do (if you check their trophies, they didnt even complete the game but gave it over 80/100). This definitely is not the AC thats going to rope me back into the series

Having played through every Assassins Creed game on pc, console and other devices, I'm very much looking forward to playing through this one... The damn price is a pain though. There was a time £40-60 would get you the entire game, all the bells and whistle's and extra bits and pieces.. though now they want £99+ ...Certainly one for a sale for me. It's currently 50% off with the Ultimate Edition at £50 + an additional 20% off for Black Friday.. taking it down to £40. I'm imagining it'll not drop much below 70% off before the next title is released, so I think I may have to pull the trigger as I really want to get into this latest incarnation. Thank you for the review :D Noted at 13mins 24 seconds.. when he blows his horn, he blew his hood clean off! xD
