aw man you poor thing getting glutened is such a horrible feeling! i get a severe headache/ slightly slurry or stuttering speech (like i can't find words well) within 30-60min + im puking violently by the 90min mark, then get super bloated to where people have asked if i'm pregnant lol. i'm so glad that the glutening wasn't even worse for you! thanks for sharing your experience in a humorous way

I feel you! Even when it's a small cross contamination, I am out for at least a few days, it feels like hell on earth! Thanks for sharing!

agh! so sorry this sucks!  currently going through a glutening as well 😭 the low mood and brain fog have been the worst, still ten days later. thank you for all your content. its the validation I seriously need. hoping to join you in creating this type of content soon!
  • I literally have bad dreams about this happening to me! Hope you feel better soon! I’d be freaking out too.
  • Love the Tee. I'm a fan of LT, I've actually read his book based on his TV shows back in the day. Highly recommended
  • I'm so impressed with how you handled this. I'd be so scared to even get out of the house if I did not know what to expect. Could relate to the panic part but felt so sad that you felt like it was your fault when this is just inevitable at some point 💔
  • Thank you for going through all of the steps and symptoms with us! I had accidentally eaten some teriyaki sauce that I used to eat all the time and just started gf about 2 months ago. I didn't feel sick until the second night and was worried I'd given myself a touch of food poisoning from a different meal (didnt throw up but had a lot of stomach pain like usual with gluten). I didn't realize even a small amount of contamination could affect me like that and for so long! Dang this diet is hard sometimes. Don't be too down on yourself and I won't be either but I've learned my lesson! Thankfully it wasn't too bad. Anyways appreciate the videos!
  • OH MY GOODNESS HONEY! I broke out in tears for you, my symptoms are just as bad as yours topped off by constipation that can last a minimum of 2 weeks! And I totally relate to the brain fog 🥲 when I had a one month gluten free challenge I felt amazing but then I went back to gluten for 6 months because the hospital was incompetent, it was the worst most depressing time of my life! I couldn’t eat, sleep, think or even have the energy to get out of bed!. You can get through this ❤ I believe in you it is so tough! I’ve only been diagnosed for 5 months now and the past 3 months have been the greatest! ❤❤❤
  • I can totally sympathise with you I did the same thing with a pie 2 wks ago and still don’t feel right can’t face food It’s no fun Hope you feel better soon 😘
  • Oh no!!! I’ve never full on eating gluten since diagnosis (only been glutened from CC), this is my worst nightmare. I hope your body is continuing to recover!! If this happened to me I would definitely try to make myself throw it up, but I’ve never done that so I don’t know if I could. How terrifying, I am so sorry!
  • Oh so sorry! I did this to myself with a frozen pizza once. It was a brand that makes lots of gluten free stuff and it was directly NEXT to the GF stuff so I grabbed it and did not think anything of it until I got sick about 2 pieces into it. So so sorry. Hope you're feeling better by now. <3

Oh wow, I really empathised with your panic when you first found out! I accidentally glutened myself at work about an hour before I had to deliver a training session, and ended up in the bathroom almost crying out of panic. I actually ended up making myself throw up, which did end up helping somewhat, I think?? My symptoms definitely weren't as bad as they normally were, mainly just a lot of fog, nausea, headaches and joint pain :(

Im so sorry this happened to you it sounds so horrible. From the perspective of someone who JUST got their diagnosis, it’s interesting to me all the symptoms you listed at the end cause that’s just been my life since I was a teenager hahah
  • @leiarey3967
My reactions are always more delayed … like I tend to think I’m going to slide by and then it’s like boom the diarrhea starts, nausea, bloating, pain and reflux. It’s weird how sometimes my reactions are worse than others , but the diarrhea, brain fog and exhaustion I get are the worst .. and idk how to combat it when it happens
  • @livpeake8108
i just got glutened i always come back to ur channel to distract myself from the pain when I get glutened.
  • @realMoMoPuFF
Oh, no! So sorry! But don't worry, everything will be fine. I'm afraid this will happen a few times. At least, in my experiense lol Also, it is so nice of you that you still went to the class. 👏
  • So sorry this happened to you. We all make mistakes every now and again. Fortunately mine is usually buying something in the supermarket, quickly scanning the ingredients and stupidly not spotting WHEAT in the list. Then I get home, check it again and I’m like ‘oh that was a waste of money and it’s going in the bin’ 😞

Don’t beat yourself up. It has happened to us all. I feel the same way as you when it happens - but we are human and allowed to have momentary lapses where we make mistakes. I haven’t finished watching the video but I hope you were OK.
