Coyote Chases Chicken - Goats to the Rescue!

You don't tell me that jet fighter in the beginning was a CHICKEN!!?

I've never seen a chicken fly more than twenty feet. That was impressive. Flew by at 50 mph like a duck.

Love seeing the goats conferring to coordinate their defensive strategy.

What brave & adorable teamwork! I just lost 3 of my chickens to coyotes. I was out of town & the person taking care of them left their coop door & the door to their run open. My security cameras on my property caught the whole thing, sadly. The commotion finally woke someone up but not before they took 2 of my girls & killed my main rooster when he went after them. (I had 4, now 3) He was outnumbered & no match against 5 coyotes but he put up a good fight before he was killed. He was a mean one, like never have your back to him kind of mean, but he always did his job protecting them. The loss was bittersweet but he went out a hero & he saved 19 other chickens from being killed that night.

That coyote knew he had been beaten by the goats as soon as they joined together as a united front to save the chicken. Seemed like he hung out for a short time weighing the options and then just thought "nah, it's not worth it" lol

They are so cute! They look confused yet stand their ground. I love it. Perfect lil guys. 🥰

I had a goat with 2 babies and my German Shepherd got just a little too close to the babies. Mother gave him a full on head butt just behind the rib cage, bashed him against my car. You could hear the wind whoosh out of him. He had a huge respect for anything remotely resembling a goat after that. Wouldn't even get close to a sheep, if it was white and woolly he was out of there.

I know how the coyote felt. Been to luncheons where I did not know anyone 😞

I love how the biggest goat stood behind the smaller ones and head butted it to go first.

That coyote watches every move the three goats make, watching for the slightest gap between them. They watch it right back, move for move, until it backs away. Now that's a defensive line.
