  • The more l hear and read about Diana the more l grow to love and admire Florence Blondie Ballard.
  • I was a little girl when this happened, but was by then still well versed in Motown music, including the Supremes. I remember my Mom was super p*ssed at Diana’s narcissistic theatrics. No one believed she was in mourning but wanted to upstage poor Florence at her own funeral. It was outrageous and disgusting behavior. May Florence, the prettiest and most talented Supreme, rest in peace.
  • Good afternoon it is amazing how folks try to sugar coat things by saying Berry Gordy favoured Diana. The world knows she was his concubine and the mother of his child.

Florence Ballard song yesterday proves she can sang and Mary didn't really mess with Diana

Two people are to blame for Flo's demise ..Berry Gordy (the chief) and Ms Diva Diana Ross (the chief-ess). Both Berry and Diana knew what they wanted and Flo essentially stood in their way due to her prowess and strength and not standing for any BS from Motown. Although Ms Ross had the star quality, Flo had THE SOUL and sounded similar to Etta James making her VERY GIFTED and unique. Poor Flo was bullied by Berry (calling her over weight) and Ms Ross didn't give a toss. Mary was too weak and needy for fame to stand up for Flo. This was all about fortune and fame and Berry and Diana would always choose fame and fortune over friendship. But , let's not live in the past and forever hold them to account. I am sure Flo would want them to be happy and not feel guilty. Diana Ross is a super star and has made many millions of people happy through her music , so she has done way more good than bad. She is not my cup of tea but I do admire her. Flo's legacy will never diminish. She was beautiful inside and out.
  • Some of this is wrong…Flo came up with the name Supremes and Reggie did that to her.

Ross was Fff N flo and dropped her for flo then fired flo
  • Sorry but this Florence Ballard didn't have the aura nor the skills of a Star 🌟 like Diana. Complete opposite in character & attitude. Diana is fire, full of ambition & determination to be recognized, she was hungry for success & fame. She was confident about her skills and just went for it, because she always believed in herself. Even as a little girl, growing up amid a family of five siblings, she was fighting all the time to get ALL the attention on HER. She has always been this way ! Just born to be a leader. She was clearly the one who wanted the biggest piece of the cake and that's why she became the legend that she is.
