you know why I see these films??!!.....because I don't understand a thing but the visuals are spectacular.

The “bad” acting only seems “bad” because it doesn’t seem like they’re acting! They’re talking over each other and interrupting each other and fiddling about.. because that’s what a real conversation looks like!
  • Three sisters, a lot of money, haute couture and a lifestyle that doesn't exist anymore. I love this movie! This is not about drama, this movie show us how exotic is this lifestyle nowadays, like a fairy tale.

Total eye candy. This film gives a lot for you to think about too. The super power of androgyny. The pretentiousness of the elites, makes sense for bad acting. The Hitchcock feeling of the mansion's mausoleum of dead hearts. Understood as if you want to be loved and be in love, live your own dream and Chanel will take you.

Kristen looked amazing in the opening scene as did so many of the other models. Karl creates these short films to showcase his fashions- and the beauty of his favorite models & muses. It isn't cinema and he knows it. I'm sure for the models it was great fun to do something other than walk down another runway or have your picture taken for the 1000th time. Karl has impeccable taste , imagination and it shows here. I enjoyed this.
  • I love the “release the corset” refrence towards gabrielle chanel.

Was this maybe a look at Lagerfeld himself?  The sort of greed in him, the love, and the magic all locked away in some garish costuming?  It makes the poor acting quite wonderful and deliberate if you look at it that way.  Most of his films he's taken credit for have a "magic" element that clashes with the elegance of high class in a comical way.  This actually hits a little close to home, how the illusion is more important than the reality.  Lovely to think about, and alright to watch.

The music, when they were dancing is Mexican, is Agustin Lara from the 1950's "Perfida"

I have watched this over and over! Anna's smokey eyes are so classic and stunning! Beautiful makeup Peter! Thank you for the inspiration!

I thought this short film was good, I mean for Karl Lagerfeld. Why is everyone hating on this video? First of all, Karl Lagerfeld is a fashion designer; don't critique him like he's a director. He makes short films for fun, not to make the best movies. And second off all, they didn't hire actors and actresses; they're all models and friends of Karl.

Iconic 90s model Kristen McMenamy, I didn't know she was still modeling. She's looking great, gotta be in her late 40s by now.
  • @Nikita-pd5uf
i think the bad acting is supposed to be like that... like to make these lives and these people seem more fake than they would have been with good acting..

I wish these films returned again. They are so entertaining and refreshing to watch!
  • I love Anna Mouglalis . She is stunning and adorable . I like her decent personality and maturity. She is calm and I like the mysterious side in her personality
