In a lecture reaching far beyond the designated topic of Middle East peace prospects, Noam Chomsky is sharply critical of Israel, India, Pakistan, President Obama, and the U.S. - which he calls a "rogue nation" and "the Godfather." He accuses the U.S. of controlling Israel and undermining the two-state solution that would establish a Palestinian state.

I’m but a mum from Western Australia who had a better understanding of the world through your teachings! Professor Noam Chomsky, the REALLY TRUTHFUL, JUST, and GREAT GENIUS OF ALL TIMES is a great blessing from the ALMIGHTY GOD, all of his lectures and videos must be heard and watched by everyone in the World to learn the truth about the historical criminal actions of all evil powers against the oppressed common people of the world.

I hope he gets to stay alive for a real effort towards democratic societies .. i hope he gets to feel like he made an impact .. he did make an impact on my life . Thats for sure but like he says its not up to 1 man to solve this thing its up to every last one of us to bring better democracy not corruption lies abuse enforcement punishment condemnation and tyranny .

Anyone in any doubt that Chomsky is the greatest living mind on public affairs need only check his response to the question about disappointed expectations around Obama (about 1:03). Not sure exactly when this was filmed (guessing early/mid Obama first term so 2010/11) BUT HIS RESPONSE PREFIGURES THE TRUMP PHENOMENON:- something which no one even saw coming when it actually happened 5/6 years later! EERIE! The more exposure I have to this man, the more AWED I am by his mind. Listening to him (especially the way he looks now at 94, with the beard) gives the truest insight of what it must have been like to for a believer to be in the presence of one of those Old Testament prophets. I will know a new depth of existential sadness when he passes...
