My favorite part about the end of chapter two is that the second Toriel talks about getting the sugar from her car, that's when Kris comes back. After how chapter 2 started, it seems like a gag. Kris took out his soul so he could eat the sugar, right? Then the game hits you with the slashed tires. Complete 180. Love it.

this video is so incredibly produced. absolutely love your commentary. i personally didn't have any interest in deltarune until chapter 2 came out. not because i thought chapter 1 was bad or anything like that, but because at the time, undertale's emotional hold on me was still so strong three years later that i couldn't bring myself to delve into this new universe. it felt like a betrayal to a game that had so entirely shaped my high school self (plus i was going through other shit in 2018) but during the pandemic, i finally returned to deltarune, played it, absolutely loved it and wanted to know everything. one week later, undertale anniversary stream, deltarune ch2 drops, the rest is history. i'm so excited for the next chapters (and anything toby cooks up really) and i'm glad you are too! and keep at the content dude! you deserve wayyy bigger viewcounts for this level of production. hope you get there :))

one of my favorite parts of watching first playthroughs of chapter 2 is seeing how people react to Oh No What That, it always ALWAYS gets people and it’s priceless EVERY time in general this was a very fun watch, even though a lot of it was recapping the story, you told it through your own eyes and experience in such a nice way that you had my attention like i was hearing it for the very first time i will be looking forward eagerly to your playthroughs of the next chapters when they come out :D

"Kris is the Knight" People, Toby is playing you all for fools. At the end of Chapter 1, everyone thought Kris was gonna go on a genocide route-like rampage. But they just went to eat the pie. It was okay that Toby tricked us then, since it was the first time. But now, Toby is tricking you again. He knows what all of you are thinking from that cutscene at the end of Chapter 2. "Kris is the Knight". He knows what you're thinking and uses that knowledge to subvert your expectations. It's fine that we fell for it back then in Chapter 1, but now he's tricking you in the exact same way, and you're STILL falling for it. Kris may have opened a Dark Fountain, but that doesn't mean they're the Knight, since we now know that any Lightner can do that.
