Anthony Starr definitely needs to get all the Awards. Not just for Homelander's "crazy" and scary interactions with other people, but for the incredible non-verbal facial expressions when he is silent and stewing or listening to others.

No one reacts to A-Train calling the leader of The Boys "Hughie's Boy". I love it. Of course A-Train associates The Boys with Hughie. He's the one he knows the most outside of Annie, and has known him longer than he has known Annie.

25:27 We can't be sure yet but I think that's a lobotomy pick Sage jammed into her brain to make herself dumb. That's why she seemed so different there. She purposefully dumbs herself down so she can relax and take a break from being so intelligent that it isolates her from life. Then she heals and goes back to being a sociopathic genius.

Season 4 so far has started off incredibly strong and I'm really liking the direction their taking the characters as it seems everyone is starting to face their past as the overarching theme of the season. That scene with Butcher and Ryan is probably one of my favourite scenes of the show and seeing Butcher grow after all his mistakes and have a wholesome moment admitting his faults is really sweet showing how with only a couple of months left he wants to make things right. Great character growth.

I get Ambrosius being paranoid about The Deep hiding her and stuff. But, remember, Homelander already fed him one lover. And, in that particular scene he just came out of a meeting where he literally could have had his head lasered off if Homelander thought he was the leak.

At first I thought it was funny that Sage needed to lobotomise herself to be able to sleep with The Deep. Then I realised that the message the writers were really sending here: Sage needed to lobotomise herself before she could utter the words "You wanna watch Transformers 2?"
