Piers Morgan is joined by comedian Bassem Youssef, columnist Madeline Grant and TalkTV contributor Paula Rhone-Adrien to discuss Chris Rock's recent Netflix special, in which he discusses the infamous Will Smith slap at last year's Oscars and whether comedy can be cancelled.

Bassem begins by explaining that Chris Rock got his revenge on Will Smith by signing a $40 million contract with Netflix for his stand-up comedy special. Piers suggests however that many people would feel outraged and perhaps slap someone mocking their wife's alopecia. Madeline counteracts that violence isn't the answer and that Will Smith should have been a better example to his children.

Who is here after Bassem destroyed Morgan ?

Chris Rock handled it with dignity and grace. Good for him for dealing with it on his own terms and not making himself a victim. Deep respect for Chris Rock.
  • Deepest respect to Chris Rock. He had every right to talk about 'the slap'.

Who's here after watching Bassem Youssef completely destroying Piers Morgan on Israel-Palestine Issue ?

Will Smith conveniently forgot that he's also mocked people as part of his comedy. Did he expect to get attacked for his jokes?

Ridiculous, Smith was laughing at the joke himself. He got up only after his wife gave him a death stare.
  • Chris was extremely tolerant and patient. He didn't say anything that was not already known. Ultimately, he had the last word, mike drop. Awesome!
  • Was an hilarious way to get back at bullies or rather “the victim” love Chris rock ❤😂😂

I loved Chris Rocks comeback to the IDIOTS PUNCH. Keep doing what you do Chris.

I had no idea that Chris Rock is such a great comedian until Will Smith slapped him.

The Netflix special was brilliant! He commanded that stage like the master he is. The whole thing was hilarious but the ending about Will was the best thing ever. All hail King Rock!

He wasn't mocking her, that's where Piers and others get it wrong, he was telling a joke, he is a comedian, whether you or Will found it funny or not, isn't the point.

It wasnt about money, I pretty much think Chris knew what he wanted to do with Will Smith and he has done just that!
  • This is the best revenge I've ever seen my whole life 🤣🤣🤣 this sunk in deeper than an arrest or a lawsuit

"I wouldn't have made a joke about her hair. I'd have made a joke about her boyfriend." - Ricky Gervais.
  • I hear that Will is embarrassed and hurt by what Chris said about him and his family in the Netflix special. He feels that it’s distasteful of Netflix to give Chris the platform to insult Jada …He is so self righteous and a hypocrite..
  • I have loved Chris Rock since I was a child watching him on SNL reruns. I wrote a paper about him in 3rd grade because we had an assignment to write about someone famous with the same first name.

If she was so upset about her hair, then why didn't she wear a wig? She wanted attention because it was going to be her husbands night, and she didn't want him to have all the attention. We all know how the night turned out for Will Smith, it was not a good ending.
