  • I quit drinking 7 years ago and went from living under a bridge to getting a job as a dishwasher and im now running the kitchen, owning my own home, two vehicles a kayak and a boat. Im also getting married next year and went from not having kids to 3 this year. I would have never have started drinking if i knew what it was keeping me from doing and what i could achieve.
  • In 5 days... I'll have a year of sobriety. Honestly, I never thought I'd be able to say that. EVERYTHING is better, I can assure you. If you are contemplating getting sober, you CAN DO IT!!

  • I quit drinking back in April of this year. My mother was an alcoholic and I decided that I don’t have time for a hangover or to poison my body. Plus I love who I am when I’m sober and I don’t need drinks to have a good time.

Brother... I was in the Marines myself for 9 years and I struggle every single day. I was drinking around the clock... If I woke up to piss. I was taking a shot of whiskey from the freezer. I still drink about 5 shots daily and slowly trying to get off of it. I was drinking a 5th a day before and even sometimes more than that. I needed to hear this. Thank you.
  • I was a horrible alcoholic for nearly a decade I gave up and dedicated my life to boxing , i was clean for 3 years 11 months and I relapsed, I'm sober for 24 hours now hopefully I can keep going

6 years 6 months 14 days sober. I found a great woman that I love. Enjoy work again. Repaired the relationships that I destroyed. Mainly the one with my son. All because I stopped drinking for just one day. That led to the next day then the next and just kept it going.

My mother died of alcoholism. I decided as a kid I’d never touch the stuff. I miss my mom everyday! Mario, you are the real MVP. I’m glad you have PBD to speak into your life!!!

My Dad was a functioning alcoholic and destroyed our family. My brother has become the person he hates, which is my dad, and is going down the same road. I was a weekend binge drinker most of my adult life but quit drinking 13 months ago. Quitting was the best thing I’ve ever done besides giving my life to Jesus Christ. Everything you said described me, my brother and my dad. Thank you for making this video.

I quit drinking and doing drugs a year ago and it forced me to figure out who I was and I’ve turned into a sportsmen, gotten two raises, bought a new truck, saved my relationship, and am building a little family and to think all it took was to just stop and force myself to face those feelings.

I quit years ago... even as just a social drinker, its made a huge impact.

  • I was never a big drinker but I was a huge binge drinker . Id drink a month worth of alcohol over a weekend and tthen not drink for weeks. I figured what's the point. All I felt was sick and embarrassed at my behavior the day after drinking. I stooped altogether now. If I want a beer there are some tasty non alcoholic beers around now.

  • My father died of alcoholism , suffered an hemorrhagic stroke and died 24 hours after. His brother died of same tragic cause . And the third brother is an alcoholic too. I saw the horror of alcoholism in my family and yet at age 21 I was introduced to it and it took me 12 years to realize that alcohol is my Achilles heel. I hope I will have the courage to stop before it destroys me too. Thanks for this .
