My Grandfather and his parents immigrated from Sweden to the USA in 1903, he was a child. I Welcome Sweden and the Gripen to NATO. thank you.
-
Look how it turns on a tight road. Wow! Even a regular car needs more space to make that turn đđ
-
Respect đđ» to the Swedish Air Force đđ€đ» !!!!
-
Many countries should take note of the gripens to learn how to make a great deadly and simple aircraft
-
Great video. A JAS 39 Gripen on a road, it's so exotic for a French man! Thanks for sharing.
-
Fantastiske JAS Gripen đđžđȘ
-
Gripen stealth. Intruder can be flying right over it not knowing itâs there, parked in the woods anywhere near a regular road, ready to intercept.
-
Looks so nimble đ€©

Hold the trafic ! A Swedish Jas 39 is about to land on this road. Sweden should be the first country to have a road sign to say. Beware of incoming jets !!
-
Back to the good old days ;)
-
Everyone's gangsta until they're tailgated by the fighter jet.
-
Beautiful. Just beautiful!! (I've seen this up close and personal but with the predecessor Viggen. It's an experience to behold and remember, for sure. The closer the better. :) )

trevligt att se att vÀg baserna trÀnas pÄ !

Awesome jet, beautiful footage! Thanks for sharing.
-
Perfect for our Swedish roads with its short take off and landning distanceđđ
-
Very nice footage and sound! The Gripen is perfect for road bases, with it's smaller size. Would be cool to experience seeing a road base landing/takeoff for real.
-
With those hard landings it feels almost like it could land on a carrier
-
Whenever the pilot is hungry, he just lands on the road and orders hamburgers in the "drive through", eats in the parking space and then takes off to get back into the fight... :D
-
Watching the top gun movie I figured it was hard taking off from a short runway. I guess that wasnt a swedish plane...
-
Other fighters: Needs a proper runway to take off and land properly Gripen: hippity hoppity your road is now my property
