  • This reminds me of the British spy who was found in his apartment, naked, stuffed inside a bag that was zipped up and padlocked from the outside. Official ruling; suicide.
  • Next time I’m at the doctors office I’m telling him I’m not looking for a diagnosis. Just speculation of a situation like mine.

The first suicide EVER where a person who is already dead continued to stab themselves. It’s infuriating that this family has had to fight all these years and are still unsuccessful in getting justice. I wonder who they were protecting when they badgered the coroner into changing from homicide to suicide.

I always enjoy listening to your opinions on a case. That being said, there's much more to this case, I believe warrants further examination. First of all, it's not true that the security guard went to the door with her fiancé. That's a myth that's been proven to be untrue based on a sworn deposition. Her fiancé was the only one who "broke in" to her place to discover her on the kitchen floor. The audio of the 911 call is available and highly recommend listening to it.  She had multiple bruising on her body in various stages of healing. I'm not accusing any one of anything, but it's curious that she had all of these bruises and wasn't involved in any sports or activity that would explain them. Then there's the upcoming wedding. IF she was being abused, it's not uncommon to keep that a secret from family and friends. That can also explain why she was feeling anxious and sought mental help, along with asking her parents if she can move back in. One of the wounds in her neck is described by other pathologists, even a neuropathologist, as paralyzing. So, if that's accurate, how was she able to stab herself in the chest. The last wound was in the chest. Look at the medical exam report on the stab wounds. Some are deeper than others. The ability to stab yourself that hard and severe in the BACK of the neck and head is highly unusual. Look at the size of the knife. The grip u would have to have the flexibility and length of your arm to be able to plunge it in so deep and do it multiple time, one of which may have caused paralysis. Then still be able to stab your chest. We don't know what order the stab wounds are. We only know for certain that the last stab was in her chest. There are ways a person can lock the door from the outside. I encourage anyone who's interested to check out Gavin Fish's demonstration. He has a website and YouTube channel. He has done a lot of research into this case and has had close contact with Ellen's parents. The medical examiner first ruled this case as a homicide, however, after speaking with officials, he changed it to suicide. It's also important to note that Ellen's fiancé's family is highly connected and I believe it was his uncle and cousin who showed up and took the laptop and other items from the apt. They had plenty of opportunity to manipulate it...allegedly....just a theory.  Also, if she was going to self delete, why did she fill her tank up with gas on her way home from work that day? During a snow storm no less. Why was she cutting up fruit for a snack just before she decides to exit this world? I get that some people can have a psychotic episode, but there are too many questionable things going on here. Again there's so much more to this case that you should check out as it's too much to put in a comment section. Again, I always look forward to Dr Grande's videos and I love that we can all have a respectful discussion, even if we disagree :)
  • Remember the case of the men that entered the woman’s apartment (and murdered her) through the plumbing crawlspace behind the bathroom cabinet? The police would have never known how he entered, but the woman called 911 screaming ‘help, someone came in through my bathroom cabinet’ before she was killed. It’s gotta be something similar in this case. Why in the world would you stab yourself in the back of the neck when your arteries and veins are in the side/front. It just makes NO sense. I’m not even sure how she physically achieved this maneuver.

Everything sounds reasonable except one thing you did not mention. The Philadelphia Medical Examiners Office stated when they reversed their finding of homicide back to suicide they relied on a report from an outside consulting neuropathologist, Dr. Lucy Rorke-Adams, to show that the wounds to her neck could not have resulted in neurologic damage severe enough to keep her from inflicting the fatal wound. However they could not produce the report nor could they produce an invoice or any other record of payment to Dr. Rorke-Adams for such a report. On top of that Dr. Rorke-Adams stated she had no memory of the case or of writing such a report. How can this be explained?

Wait!... how could you stab yourself 20 times!???!!!??? 🤔 In the back of the neck?!? 🤷🏼‍♀️ If you're going to kill yourself, this is NOT the way to do it! 🗡
  • @wsidechris
Sam’s 911 call is public. It’s unbearable. He tells the operator he moved her body and goes (in a Bill and Ted way) — “whoa, she fell on the knife!”. Dude got away with murder, and remarried a few years later.
  • I find it very hard to believe that this woman committed suicide in this manner.
  • @hanziggywuest
"The door was locked from the inside. The police are satisfied." - EYES WIDE SHUT
  • It's only his word that the door was locked. He kicked it in before anybody arrived how could anyone know that it was truly latched from the inside
  • @AmberKelly82
This case has bothered me for so long. There are a few cases that I want to know the truth of. This one, Jon Benet Ramsey, Summer Wells etc
  • According to security guard, he did not accompany Sam to open the door, so Sam lied about that. Sam Goldberg's relatives consist of very high ranking lawyers and judges. They have been very involved. Joren Van der Sloot's father was also a judge, and we all know what he got up to. Her spinal chord was severed before the stab to the heart. That would not be physically possible for her.
  • @BurroGirl
Dr. Grande why did you leave out the parts of the autopsy indicating there were 3 stab wounds that happened post mortem? This is one of the most important pieces of evidence indicating murder. There were also bruises on her in various stages of resolution. And you also left out the lack of collection of evidence by the police. And the fact that her laptop and phone were taken out of the apartment very soon after by the future in-laws, not even her own parents? Marks on her neck too. I'm disappointed all this was not brought up in your video, other than marks on her neck.
  • This has to be one where I 100% disagree, there's no way those wounds were self inflicted. Sounds like someone has been getting away with murder to me.
  • @dreamingdeso
Went to school with a relative of hers and her family has championed this cause for so long. Very happy to see this making waves in media.
  • @CringePanda
I saw the pics of the angle of entry for her wounds and it really baffles me how she could have done this herself.
  • @jimd8008
Cover up by the PD and Coroners office.
  • This case is very strange. J Scott Morgan of Body Bags mentioned a few of the wounds were post mortem.
