I have a degree in Physical Education/Kinesiology, and I am dumbfounded at how brilliantly you explained this. In my lifetime of being educated and speaking with knowledgeable persons, I have never heard anyone breathe a word of how to deal with tight, inelastic nerves. This would explain why I can effect gains in every muscle of my body except hamstrings! Thank you.
  • Tight nerves? Holy crap, bruh. I've been exploring fitness on YouTube over the last 5 years from reputable channels, but have only just learned this concept for the first time. Subscribed!
  • I dk who you are ma'am but I'm forever grateful to you! Tonight I woke up at 2a.m. with extreme nerve pain. I've been tossing and turning for 3½ hrs now. As I lay in bed I did this nerve stretch and INSTANTLY the pain subsided. I've been dealing w this pain for ab 2 years now. Ive done countless stretches, had numerous chiropractic visits, bought bands, foam rollers, chiropractic balls, and a massage gun. And it wasn't until today, in your short 3 min video, I found relief. Literally brought tears to my eyes when I realized I wasn't in excruciating pain! Can't thank you enough!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! 👏👏👏
  • This is a fucking miracle. I went from not being able to touch my toes to being able to put my hands flat on the floor with completely straight legs in 5 minutes. I have NEVER been able to do that.

I've been fighting with my hip-flexors and glutes/psoas for years. This is the only thing that made a difference for me. Stretching now feels like it's actually helping. THANK YOU!
  • @Lunarangst
Pains me daily that Liv isn’t more widely recognised. So much value in one human !
  • I have had one tight hamstring for over a year that has gotten better with a lot of physical therapy and patient exercise. I am a bit dumfounded how well that worked on the first try. Years of running and numerous doctors to be trumped by a three minute video. Thank you. I will keep using it and see how it goes.
  • @dareartes4232
Mind. BLOWN. A few minutes on the floor and I already see improvements in what I've been struggling with for 25 years!
  • FINALLY! my whole life people have told me it's "just the stretch" I'm feeling but I knew it was a different "stretch" I felt in my hamstrings but couldn't describe it better - just knowing I can actually do something about it has made me so happy!
  • @simoneoclark
🤯 my entire life I thought I had tight hamstrings! Even as a teen when everything else was so flexible, I could never "stretch" my hamstrings. Amazing
  • @JohnyDerp
I agree with everyone, your explanation is brilliant. You not only spread tricks but foremost understanding of the issue. Your assertions are sharp, concise, scientific and falsifiable. In 2 min, I learned, tested and diagnosed my body. I'm eager to apply your exercises as a daily routine. I tip my hat to your ability to summarize knowledge and thank you.

I can't believe this. I'm almost in tears right now. I've had pain in my sciatica for almost 6 years now. I couldn't bend over and even get halfway down my shin with excruciating pain in my heel. I tried the nerve glide technique explained in your video and I can already reach my ankle with absolutely no pain at all. I can't thank you enough.
  • I got diagnosed with sciatica about 4 years ago and at the age of 17. And was recommended to loose weight. Although that helped, the constant pain have never gone away. I have watched countless, videos on how to ease tension and nothing has really worked. So when I tried this and 30 second later, when I'm able to sit up the straightest I have ever been able to with my legs straight without any pain absolutely blew me away. Amazing content!!
  • @MrSlickBobby
Ok. I just came back to karate after a 22 year break feeling stiff as. This actually worked wonders. More nerve gliding please!
  • @bakeymykakey
as an ex-gymnast and someone who wants to get into calisthenics, thank you so much, i’ve always known it’s my nerves that were inhibiting my mobility but i never knew how to deal with it. you were not lying when you said it would being instant results.
  • @lisadee7150
I'd love to see a video about fascia. I used to think my pain and lack of mobility was due to stubborn muscles that wouldn't gain flexibility but then discovered fascia. Once I started working on my areas of tight fascia my range of motion improved vastly.

I'm 37 and have done 0 stretches the last 20 years or so.. This made me go from a 70 to a 90 degree leg lift. Thank you! :) Now i have to watch your other videos and start stretching.
  • I've always had a complex about my flexibility... so many stretches rely on the ability to touch one's toes. And yet, I love the feeling of a good stretch in every other muscle. It's only the straight-leg-stretches that set alarm bells of in my brain. I've always just found them painfully uncomfortable. I've tried so many times to search for an answer and not once have I learnt about the sciatic nerve. It makes so much sense. I injured my coccyx as a child and have always wondered if it's related. It's a relief to discover this secret and I'm hopeful it will make a difference. Thanks so much for the insight and gentle guidance 🌱💙
  • You are so articulate with your communication. Very refreshing!
  • Thank you so much! I haven't always done exercises or stretches but that's something I wanted to work on this year. I'm glad to have found your channel, it's great for advice for beginners, great presentation, and wonderful information all around. This was something that I apparently had a problem with and just the first time doing the stretches I can already tell a difference.
