FUNKe managed to establish a strong and distinct style separate from TF2's visual style. That helped a lot.

5:25 fun fact, funke also was the first vtuber and invented vtubing
  • @orrenlane
I know it's kinda like your signature thing, but I really love what you do with typography. The skill to make text more than just a method of conveying information and turn it into a visual treat is very underappreciated, and you do it super nicely

dude i can't believe "i miss tf2" was 3 YEARS AGO :sob: i remember watching that video a few hours after it was made
  • @ConcealedAxe
He’s still on the internet if you look for him, 2 of salty phish’s recent videos feature him in a competitive Highlander team, I also like to think FUNKe never left tf2 (after all it’s his favorite game) and he’s simply waiting for another opportunity to talk about it. Anyways good vid
  • @TwilightRO1
Funk's old video outro got me into "The Good Life (Live at X96)". He used to end his videos with it, yeeeeears ago.
  • my first funke video was one of his movement shooter ones. I didn't even know he was a tf2 youtuber until much later
  • @Syrene.08
isnt he the guy who plays sniper for BTS? (Big Time Sus)
  • @Mic.vencer
He’s also got very good taste in music, and I like that he shared a song during or at the end of his videos. I got Ozma’s Restart on my playlist because he shared it

i hate that even though bro makes great videos, theres barely any comments/views here
  • @ruzgar1372
Funke is the epitome of "not being able to make more content about the game because there is nothing new left" I'm sure he loves the game to death but his video essay type of content is not fit for the stagnant state of TF2
  • The intro with the new animation and remixed jingle is great, can’t wait to see the volume 4 edition!
  • @B.Love88
I may have not watch him throughout the years but watching his videos on movement shooters was awesome. His animations were top notch and his style is so good! Thanks for giving me the backstory to a great creator!
  • Your assessment of FUNKe being initially very similar in content to Star is spot on. I actually started watching FUNKe after star stopped uploading on the STAR_ and ster channels to fill the wacky live commentary void I had after. Little did I know at the time, but FUNKe would not only match what I wanted, but also exceed and grow into his own. Great video
  • @Normium
Even if he countinued to make TF2 content or not. FUNKe is still an amazing content creator.
