"We will see build 42 some time this year" This year for real. Swear.
-
At this point, I'm more worried TIS might end up shutting down before the game is finished developing. 13 years of development isn't cheap.
-
It might not sound like a lot on the surface but I'd expect it's a lot more than we realise underneath. Something we need to remember is this isnt just a selction of new recipes, this is still an overhaul of the crafting system.. literally the mechanics under the hood of how crafting works. Entirely new code and systems for metal smelting, pottery, workstations and crafting on surfaces but without specific workstations. Surfaces need to be made an actual thing, chairs, counters, various vehicle surfaces, the ground (inside and outside floor basically). While we may not get a lot of physical items initially with this update it's absolutely laying the groundwork for what comes later!

Cant wait to play on release, december 31st at 11:59pm😂
-
yay project medieval crafting simulator!
-
I love the game and I'm glad they're prioritizing quality over quantity, but how much are they gonna possibly delay this stuff? It's been like 2 years since the last major update, I feel an unstable build would be due by now atleast.

Lost me at “scaled back”
-
I’m actually wondering how the heck are they taking so long to develop updates for this game? Even with a small team it shouldn’t take a year to have a major update but it took them 2+ years
-
Geez man. Indiestone is just ridiculous at this point. They code like I write: put down 1 line then we're good for the day. Every time they announce something there's a mod made 1 day later doing that exact thing.
-
I should probably just give up hope for npcs 😅
-
You made the video of their comments saying how hard at work they are and how everyone needs to stop complaining about the wait bjt honeslty, screw that. After 2 more updates at this pace I’ll almost be 30 with possibly a family and a career. They need to start charging for dlc or SOMETHING and get more staff to speed this up because it’s frankly ridiculous.

Wicked. Can't wait to crank it up after I have relocated.

Honestly, I couldn't be less excited for an update after the Devs little outburst. At this point, just put it out or quit talking about it. Feels like it doesn't exist and never did.

I saw wires... oh no
-
Windows and hatches? Wood, iron and steel hatches, vault hatches, vault door, double door, elevator and cargo elevator,
-
Same question as always. YES OK BUT WHEN ?
-
Get ready for an orange glow every night with lights…….

If they were to just release a bit after bit is fine but close to 3 years and they still teasing 42... It took 2 years to get multi-player back... I just don't see it happening in the next decade.
-
Its taking too long. I would rather pay for it as DLC and not just wait this long. It cannot be that hard. I heard that they hired additional devs and yet they are still this slow. I dont expect 42 coming out this year, even if they still keep saying that it will... half of the year is already gone. Before it they said it will come out in summer. Wich is as we all know bunch of cheap talk. I love this game. I really do and I still think its the best survival game in terms of realism, crafting and zombies. But they are basically being outworked by their modding communitty. And by that I mean outworked hard. And thats not a good thing at all. They should speed up.

New to the game and honeslty I'm sad I waited so long to play it. Mainly solo and co op with friends and I've been loving everything.
