  • Fun fact: Count Dooku is actually the father of Willy Wonka, after the events of CATCF he set off to research new lightsaber tricks. This is when he then discovered that Yoda's weakness was Lollipops.

how did this guy forget rick the door technician? he had a clear story arc, was very intimidating, and fought a battle he knew he couldn't win all the way to the end (charging a jedi with advanced force powers with only an energy baton) to buy his comrades time. he died braver than them all.

Darth Vader isn't just an incredible villain in Star Wars. He is one of the best villains in all of fiction.

When you said there s a reason Vader is known by everyone on Earth made me remember about that time one year ago when I was telling my grandma (70yo) about Star Wars and she told me "the movies with Vader?" she remembered seeing Star Wars in the cinema back in the early 80s' . She didn t remember anything else but Vader and that alone shows how iconic he is to the series

Saying that Count Dooku (Christopher Lee) is the James Bond of Star Wars is far from an understatement, seeing as he was related to Ian Fleming (the author of the 007 novels) and was one of the main sources of inspiration for the character, because apparently among other things he was a suave spy during WWII.
  • Fun fact: the actor of count dooku was a direct decendent of a king who has a curved hilt of his sword Edit:thanks for a 182 likes in comment, this is my first time
  • @ghettodorf
Thrawn had enough screen time to get a spot. We knew how cunning and ruthless he was in his battle tactics from what was shown. Hes definitely a force to be reckoned with.

Dude having German Language on while General Hux giving his speech for the first order hits hard šŸ’€
  • I do love how Darth Maul showed that he was a great strategist and tactician in the Clone Wars television series. His masterful handling of a loose confederation of Death Watch troopers, Black Sun soldiers, Hutt hired mercenaries, Pike Syndicate foot soldiers, and other crime organizations under a single umbrella was quite impressive. Also, how he then took over Mandalore and her colonies was truly remarkable, as he was able to create a fake threat that was defeated by Death Watch so as to destroy Countess Satine's own reputation during the Clone Wars.

I am so glad that you put Dooku in second place. mad respect
  • @Jedwerd
Based on the comments, it looks like not including Tarkin or Thrawn was a serious miscalculation on my part šŸ„¶
  • I'm really surprised that Thrawn and Tarkin aren't on this list.
  • I do believe that in an Japanese animated version of Star Wars there is a hallway scene where the rebels tell vader to surrender and that heā€™s surrounded. And then vader then says ā€œall I am surrendered by is fear, and dead menā€
  • @InzaneMane
Unnerfed Grievous will always be my favorite SW villain. He was like a freaking Jedi nightmare.
  • I see Thrawn's absence is already mentioned, but I would have loved to see Tarkin, Jabba (the dude was basically Han's villain for three movies), Krnenic (he was more or less a main villain for the entire movie, with Vader and Tarkin only getting two cameo scenes each). Non physical villains (even tho both Tarkin and Thrawn can throw down) are pretty cool too. Also that spider guy from Clone Wars. And perhaps that very smart tactical droid.
  • Death Vader is probably one of if not the coolest villains of all time
  • Grevious had a more fleshed out backstory in legends which shows how tragic his life is, but this appears to be a canon-based video.
