"Remember, we must be greater than what we suffer," is such a powerful line.
  • @OzKo
the way peter finds out the lizard's plan is so much better here than he does in the actual movie
  • @Dushhh
"We must be greater than what we suffer" This line was in TASM 2 as well but it hits so hard with the loss of Uncle Ben and Connors saying it.

I feel so bad for Marc Webb and Andrew Garfield, they clearly had a vision for a movie intended to be full of heart and good writing. Sony cut so much scenes out, edited it like shit, and fired Andrew.

You know something went wrong when the deleted scenes are this good...
  • I just loved they didn't showed who murdered uncle Ben, but Peter's got the draw of the suspect, like he doesn't even know if it's the same guy, but he felt the guilty... that was soo much better than the final cut

All of these deleted scenes have elements that were weren’t mentioned at all in the final cut of the film making me realize that there’s even more deleted scenes, there’s probably a whole other version of this movie, hiding in Avi Arad’s desk, waiting to be seen
  • I need to have a serious talk with whoever decided it was a good idea to delete all this material.
  • @PRRTobar
most of this scenes were pretty important to me for the movie
  • @jm5887
Can't believe they cut the scene with aunt may and Peter being happy. That was so heartwarming and nice to see
  • @arvi132
I cannot believe these were cut. Theses scenes make the movie 10x better. Bens death was way more effective and kinda scary. I always hated how he tried to stop the guy with the gun when he wasn’t even doing anything
  • 3:53 - Connors' Condolences IS A GREAT SCENE. Gives the villain more character with a moment like this. Definitely more sympathetic, and his words ultimately inspired him to mask up
  • @SwrveYT
Irfhan Khan's appearance in TASM felt so short lived and I wish we knew more about his character

Same thing happened to the 2nd one. What they did was basically turn good movies into bad ones by removing the important elements, for example : peter actually follows connors to the entrance of the sewer, a more realistic way compared to what was in the final cut which was bunch of lizards going down to the sewers like really?!. Ex 2.. peter actually helping connors after the school fight, i would argue that this was needed in the movie. It shows how peter is a good hearted person by nature, willing to help the giant lizard that basically wants him dead. Ex 3... peter goes to connors underground place and hears him out until indian dude starts shooting, this to me shows how peter is still willing to try and talk some sense into connors. So yeah, shame on the studio or whoever decided to cut these out.

In the final cut, Peter just happens upon Connors’ hideout, and finds out everything he needs to know from a video Connors made, is all convenient and stupid. These scenes however, show that Dr. Connors voluntarily takes Peter where his hideout is whilst in his lucid state, giving the impression that he knows he’s gone to far, and wants Peter to know what he’s done to help him.
  • @drballs2523
"Thanks for nothing kid" Andrew: "I missed the part where that's my problem" There. Perfection.
  • @Dorkalest
Wow these deleted scenes actually add so much to the story, especially Connor's. Feel so sorry for Webb and Garfield ;(
