I'm having a sale on the LegitStreetCars shop wipes! legitstreetcars.com/ Clean up your hands without having running water in your garage! After you mint out your hands/arms you can use the wipe to clean all your tools and work bench!

People say the worst sound is hearing a tool/bolt/nut drop, but they're wrong. The worst sound is the silence of it not hitting the floor.

Just an fyi: you dont have to remove the wedding band and brass fitting but from the new bag. You can just remove the old ones from the line. Then push the line into the new brass fitting with it still installed in the bag until it seats. Then snug the brass nut and your done! Super easy.

No need to disassemble the connection on the new airbag. Just push the line in and it seals. This is very well explained in BMW TIS. I did this job on my E61 two weeks ago and it's a 15 min job each side.
  • Imagine being the previous owner, missing your car that you were told was totaled for a cracked engine, only to see it again on YouTube. The only thing cracked was the engine cover, and the check engine light was fixed by cleaning some parts and swapping out a coil pack.

I buy and Repair "Broken" auction cars all the time, creative "Fixes" are not uncommon and many times, ppl have NO idea how to Diagnose cars.....so if the auction notes say "Broken Engine".....sometimes, just a battery is needed.....sleepers are everywhere if you know what you are looking for.........You can drive any car you want, if you know how to work on and fix them.....Great Videos......LOVE the Content !!!!!
  • For the 20th time this video, the wedding band is called a Ferrule! 😁 Mike in San Diego. 🥰🎸🚀🖖

As a DIY guy myself it is really nice that you point out the obvious things like "the cooling is at the bottom and would leak out the most" because it reminds me of things that I did YEARS ago... and maybe not had forgotten but put WAY back in my memory... and it is now back ... thanx for that.

The full throttle worry in the AMG and BMW is definitely a thing. Premium is $3.64 in SC. Never liked the X6 look, but incredible deal either way.
  • I purchased my X6 in 2014 brand new. I'm still driving my car without issues. Just follow recommendations and service as factory recommended. Nothing will be surprising to you, if you understand German Engineering. I Love my X6, the best SAV ever!

For the longest time, I never clicked on any of your videos. I don't know if it was the channel name or what, but I just assumed it was like "douchey" car content that you see a lot of nowadays. I feel bad even saying that, because I absolutely love your channel! My favorite part is just that you show your full diagnosis process, the little wins (like finding dropped bolts) as well as when things don't work out. The other thing I love is that you're not always focused on "out of reach" cars which has become commonplace on the internet today. Just a great channel, and again I apologize for whatever weird assumptions I had made before I even watched a single one of your videos. Keep being great! Love the intro, btw. Cheers from CT

I worked at a BMW specialist shop for awhile, and absolutely hated working on the N63, and S63 engine while in the car. No room for anything. However, whenever they're running good, they're really fun. I did downpipes, a straight pipe exhaust, and a tune on a fresh motor, and that thing sounded insane on the dyno.

Correct Alex, the X6 did come in 5 seaters but it's optional. I agree with you, if you're going to have a big 4X4, it should have 5 seats, even if you decide to have only 2 people sit in the back!
  • @kurtishb2202
As an AMG/American car enthusiast, touché on realising that although your X6 is an M sport, it isn't an M and you said you would remove the M sticker. Respect, from an M5 F10 owner 👏

27:49 Pro tip....when I did my N63 exhaust vanos solenoids, that hidden bolt was a huge pain. I cut a slot in the intercooler mount bracket arm, so that no I can pre-install the bolt without fear of dropping it, and it helps mount and situate the intercooler on reinstallation.

...it's 106 miles to Chicago, we have full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're we're wearing sunglasses...hit it!

I am addicted, to this channel. Have to get my fix every saturday evening.
