I have been working in blender for over 10 years, what he said about the Blender update is completely false. It takes maybe 5 minutes to get used to the new layout, and there’s an option in user preferences to keep the old hotkeys that appears when you boot it up.

Ok, you comparing yourself to Walt Disney because he had to give up almost everything to succeed, I get that, but Walt Disney’s stuff was entertaining, hell even innovative. In my opinion, your movie just made no sense. The premise is explained more than 3 times, the writing just makes no sense, almost all of the jokes don’t land, and the animation is just obviously those 3D animation packs that can automatically apply to rigs. While I get animation is very hard (I do it myself), you can’t be putting yourself upon a pedestal like that, especially when your “Magnum Opus” isn’t good.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Our Drawings. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head.

Ok ya. This whole movie is trash. I don’t want to sugar coat it like everyone else is. The animation is bad. The sound effects are horrible. Some of the voice acting is stiff and mono tone. The way the story plays out is super weird. There’s like 3 introductions to Paige for some reason? The dialogue is super weird. And the story is overall really bad. I don’t even know who all the characters are. So ya it’s horrible. Please learn how to make a good story and good characters.

i am an avid blender user. i went from 2.7 to 2.8, and it took about 2 weeks for me to learn the new interface. if someone much younger than you learned an interface in less time than you and DIDN'T have to restart projects because that's not how blender works, you need to step thjings up.

In the nicest way possible, this looks like megamind 2 10x worse. Don't mean any disrespect or hate but I mean, this is just awful. But at least you learn from (unlike some companies)
