I shared this on FB with a great response so I thought I'd share it here as well. Possum courtship is rare to witness. This video was February 1st 2016 and sadly today I found her on the road at 7am; where she had been hit and killed for several hours. I moved her off the road and checked her pouch for any sign of babies which there were none. She was then taken for cremation. I wish these accidents would never happen. Such a marvellous creature.

I love opossums. They’re cute even when they’re getting frisky! Lol. Nice video! It’s rare to see possums together as they are fairly solitary creatures.
