Some people wouldn't show problems like being pinched ... I wont call them mistakes as its just something that happens .. Bjarne showing how to get out and having a second chain is what learners need to know ...happens to everyone , using your axe to pull the bar out as you did on a previous video is gold. Well done
  • Sometimes rain is better than a heavy mist. Cool outro at the end there, thank you.

Love your videos. For that loose dog, you may want to try some thread locker to keep the bolts from vibrating loose. Activator is recommended for use with aluminum and make sure the bolt is clean. A few drops on the end of the bolt will do. I would recommend blue thread locker as it is medium duty. The red thread locker (heavy duty) requires heat to get the bolts loose. Keep putting out the great content.
  • Nasty weather day. Frustrating as heck when things happen that slow you down. I get that.
  • Yep, PNW typical weather....just shitty!! And Yes, when dressed for it, just as wet on the inside!! Work safe, Bjarne!
  • That is a very nasty ass piece of the bush that you were dropping. Full of snags and hang-ups. Typical day in the life of a coastal faller here in Beautiful BC!
  • Looking snappy in new rain pants betcha there kinda warm though

So much for saving the streams and leaving a buffer zones...

Tanks man I need a helmet.. Sure not that one
  • Not a helmet fail. Weather happens, Use an elastic edge bowl cover over helmet in the rain or tape as you say.
  • Are there any better helmets on the market? Stihl? Maybe you better start a line alongside your power wedges!

From what I know Yew isn't much good for axe handles. Will be interesting to see how it works for you. Seems White or Red Oak, Hickory. Maple and Ash work well for axe handles. Hickory is probably best. But none of them grows in your area.
  • Bjarne you need duct tape quick fix for your safety helmet ⛑. 😮
