How could anyone be bored? This all takes my breath away!!!
-
I would have loved to have met this precious lady.
-
I know she would be honored that you were the one who ended up with all her treasures.

My aunt hand a leg like that. In the 40s and until panty hose became fashionable, she would wash her stockings and stretch them on the frame to dry. In her latter years, she had a pair of them that were stainless steel. She had given up on stockings, and used it to stretch her blue jeans on to dry. When she took them off the frame, the jeans looked as though they had been starched and ironed. She had the crispest creases you have ever seen! That artist had a little bit of everything, didn’t she. I can’t wait to see what you create with all of those wonderful things!

WOWOWOWOW!! Thank you for taking us along for the ride. I think it safe to say your thrills and appreciation for this adventure are shared and appreciated by us all! I must also add your reverence for this artist and her creative vision was very touching.

Bored? Heck no. Jealous YES. Holy moly Yvonne! You scored big time. 😊❤. She was an amazing artist. Talk about mind blown🤯🤯🤯🤯. I would have LOVED to have there with you. I’m in awe. Blown away.

I went through a long long non creative period. And subsequently de cluttered. No tears, it was needed! But have started creating again, and, am so pleased that I found someone who has the enthusiasm and respect for what "old trash" can be! I consider you to be a mentor, thank you for your positivity!

Her art tells me this Woman had talents like no other. Absolutely incredible.

The white toeless baby shoes were for baby’s who’s feet turned in or out. There was a bar between them connecting the two shoes to keep the feet in the correct position while, they slept. Parents also did exercises during the day when they weren’t worn. I did this for my son and it worked beautifully…a google search will show you what the different bars looked like.🙂

Those little white shoes with toes out, looked like shoes my daughter had to wear ortho doc put her leg braces on. I can see screw holes in the bottom.

WOW, you really did find the pot of gold under that rainbow!!! So many great pieces , so many great individual parts of pieces, just so much greatness!!! Oh how I wish I would have known this lady, what an incredible artist that had so much vision! She would have been awesome to talk with! Happy that you got to get all that you got!!!

The steampunk box is actually a box that would hold attachments to the very old Singer treadle sewing machine. I know because I have one . Love what the artist did with it.

This video was better than Christmas morning with all those goodies you kept showing. You have so many supplies to keep you busy for a long time. I especially love those pre-decoupage books with the beautiful images in them. So vibrant and detailed. You must feel like a kid in a candy store!!

Yvonne, You got so many beautiful one of a kind "treasures" at that amazing lady's Estate Auction, what a truly gifted artist she was! I am thrilled that you have decided to keep some of her items to add to your own gorgeous home decor! She would have been so happy to know that you got all the items that you were fortunate enough to purchase! You were probably one of the few people there that took the time to really see & appreciate her vision, her skills, her ingenuity, her artistry, her quirky designs & see the beauty that she brought out in each of those masterpieces. It was obvious that she put a lot of love & time into each piece & somehow managed to leave behind a little piece of her heart with each one! My 2 favorite pieces were the white scalloped wooden trim piece & the long rolls of "rusty crusty" narrow metal trim pieces that were tucked into the last suitcase that you filmed! And that gorgeous old red brick School House...the possibilities are endless! But wait...there's more!!! Her workshop...simply amazing! Those buildings are PRICELESS!!! There will never be another auction like that one, it truly was one of a kind!

Looked like an amazing place! The white baby shoes look like they were used with leg braces. Often seen with children who had polio. The frog is so sweet! She was one talented lady.
