Today is a busy day at CardsHQ, and my partners Ryan and Carter are gone. That means it's my first day running the card shop all by myself.

My mother would have smacked me if I even asked for something that expensive
  • @brandonbrooks898
Dang, mama was buying her boy some expensive boxes, birthday or not!

Guy: “I want an investment…” Geoff: “let me tell you about Desmond Ridder…”

When I was that kid’s age, I had to convince my parents to get me $50-100 hobby boxes. Oh how the times have changed.
  • @sprinten8
Am I weird for wanting to open my product at home all relaxed watching tv? Just taking my time. Buying a 2500 box and opening it at the store feels super weird.

Love these type of videos. I really love watching people getting into the store, buying boxes and breaking them, or people just chilling going through the value boxes with a friend. Kids, adults just hanging out. Everything about this hobby is so heartwarming. We don't have such stores in Singapore. I hope to visit CardsHQ one day, one day.
  • Pointless to buy a kid a box that expensive. He had no reaction to any of the hits because he doesn't even know who they are.

The kid is spoiled. Even tho it’s a b day gift kinda expensive for a 12 year old

This was a fun video. I visited Cards HQ a couple months ago, and it’s really well done. Geoff was serving customers well. He seems like a good dude and a good dad.

$2300+ for definitive and the best two pulls (Walker & Nolan) sell for a combined $500-600. Ouch
  • @birdbouchard6572
Lifetime diehard cardinals fan here -- that walker is a sweet card. Happy birthday, kid. Be sure to be extra nice to momma this year! And every year. What a gift.
  • @nunzi83
Damn. That definitive box was brutal. Was rooting for the kid to pull something big.

"What's the best investment?" "Here's a couple recently over hyped QBs on their way down..."
  • Awesome that the kid got on-card autos of Will Clark and Nolan Ryan. Clark hit his first career homer off of him.
  • @DrVanNostrand01
Stop pushing Bronnie James he’s a euro league player at best and no one will ever care. He is not 1/10th of the player his dad was.

Enjoyable video. All the very best with Cards HQ.
