0-1 (Beckham) 16:54 1-1 (Bergkamp) 1:11:20 Anelka disallowed goal 1:15:10 Keane sent off 1:16:29 Arsenal penalty 1:34:21 Schmeichel save 1:40:35 1-2 (Giggs) 1:58:36 FT 2:12:02 The greatest game of football I've ever seen. 2 outstanding goals from Beckham and Bergkamp, Keane getting sent off, Arsenal's disallowed goal, the last minute penalty save and then that finish from Giggs. It truly had everything. This was the moment you started to believe the treble was actually on.
  • The way David Beckham could strike a ball is out of this world he was sublime quality just pure class that goal was awesome

One of the greatest games of all time. Two amazing teams at the heart of a huge rivalry going against each other on top form in a cup tie. What more could we ask for.

As an Arsenal fan who was at the game its taken me 21 years to even watch this again. Worst night as a fan but the greatest game I saw watching the Gunners. Fair play United you did us with 10 men and the rest is history. UTG

Still the best football match I've watched...it had everything...and the fact the two were massive rivals just made it so much better. The two sides were stacked with talent.

Our treble tale is unbelievable. An extra time goal to win us the UCL, A penalty saved at extra time to win us the FA. Peter Schmeichel's save should be talked about more often

This is the best ever FA Cup game is history. 1. The magnitude of the game itself and the hype before the match. Whoever that won the game would have the momentum to go and win it as well as the EPL. 2. It had everything in the game. Top 2 sides in the EPL, sending off, goals, offside call, clashes, fierce tackles, great saves, penalty and penalty save, extra time and the best goal in FA Cup history. 3. The crowd at the end of the game, they don’t make games like this anymore.

That Beckham goal is the most overlooked super goal of all time.

If somebody says "why do you like football"? Show them this game. It had everything from start to finish.

Things people should learn from this: - This United team is miles ahead of the current Liverpool team its often compared to. Even this arsenal is better than current Liverpool. - A lot of players were diving back then as well, its not a new thing. - The game was more of a contact sport with more crunching tackles and rougher play. - Roy Keane was much more than just a loud mouthed madman that the other clubs' fans would have you believe.

The pace of the game from the 1st whistle was unbelievable

Really enjoyed the non-stop action displayed by the two teams. It is so much different between the 90's era & nowadays. The passing, tackling, running, dribbling, attacking, defending etc, so much passion.

1999.........the greatest year for English and European football. And Alan Hansen said "you'll never win anything with kids". Those "kids" proved the world that you do not need to spend to develop a great team........you just develop a great team from scratch!

Anybody saying Ryan Giggs goal isn't the best FA cup goal you've ever seen Know nothing about football

How on earth people don't rate David Beckham as world class has always been a mystery for me. Kevin De Bruyne reminds me of Becks. For me David Beckham was without a doubt was a world class player. ⚽️ ❤

Best goal I've never seen it's my favourite goal of all time, yes that goal by Ole was happiest goal ever, but Giggs goal against Arsenal is the best ever!
  • @wngmv
look at how Adams played after giggs' goal. he was trying desperately to rally his team, to bring his team back. He did so many forward runs as a defender. went for every set piece. and then at the end you can see them congratulating Giggs. I think Giggs said Adams was waiting out of our dressing room when he finally managed to get off the pitch, to congratulate him on the goal. such a classy player. utmost respect to him.
